I see this thread soon coming to a close.There is no point in further argument.Not every personality gets along. We have doctrinal differences also.If we cant agree to disagree we need to move on. All that can be said has been said here and I hope a mod soon shuts this down.Point has been made,time to cool it down.JMO

Scripture must be used with a balanced approach. How can a fellow brother repent of their wrong if the other brother does not say anything? Should I let a friend who is an alcoholic drink themselves to death because I was afraid of the fact that I might be judging them? Love sometimes requires us to warn a person of their own destruction.

Jason, you are having a pity fest. I have seen so little to moan about, or even insults, i wonder is you are actually sane.

Maybe you are part of the imitation game, where we have to judge whether you are a machine or a real human being?

I go with machine, because a human being would be able to tell between an actual insult and a joke.

By the way this is a joke, just in case you took it the wrong way. Now if you cannot even take this, you do not even qualify into the normal university discussion group member, and I imagine you would storm out saying they were ignorant unbelievers doomed to hell......just suggesting

Why do christians spend so much time on this site arguing, I don't get it, we all are supposed to belong to the same body of Christ. Jason has always been polite with me, never hateful and has always answered my questions with love and humility whenever I've asked them, to create a thread like this is a form of bullying in a sense and bears no fruit. The word fellowship is in the name of this website but mainly alls I see is divisions and cliques of people who gang up when they feel offended by someone's comment or thread. We are supposed to be brothers and sisters in Christ. I have no loyalty or bias to anybody on this site so I just comment I see and what I see isn't people who are Christ like, it's basically like a school playground but full of so called adults not children. If people feel as though Jason's interpretation of scripture is wrong then do you think God would want you basically mocking him, just rebuke him politely and carry on with your day. Christians should concentrate on growing their fruits and loving and uplifting each other, not argueing. We all pray to the same God, read the same bible and are saved through the same grace and the wonderful act which Jesus did for us on the cross. I'm not trying to join in this arguement or even stick up for Jason, I just comment as i see. Peace be with you all.

Key word~friend. And you have no idea my friendship with anyone here so dont even try.

Forgiveness is not for the other person, it's for you and restoration. Then move on.

If you're waiting on an apology youll be waiting a long time.

You warn people of their own fault when you are in the position to do so. There are person here you, jason dont take instruction from, same with them.

The answer is it is meaningless. Perfection is a relative statement, defined by rules and means of measurement.
A perfect meal can be one that fills you, or one that has a particular flavour or something you desire. Without the definition, you can actually say it is a lie or it is 100% true, and both be right. So words need more than what is often provided to be meaningful other than in the eyes of the beholder. This is the flaw of a lot of discussions here.

There is never a point where we stop learning or are limited. DO you really want the Lords blessing?

May the Lord in His wisdom open your mind to walk in the hearts of others and see the love He has planted there not to hurt but to build up.

not to argue, or defend as you said but the fault lies in someone getting really upset and offended because people disagree with them. remember what we are saying here. no one on this site, that I have noticed, starts attacking someone else and being harsh without any reason. but this is the pattern, Jason posts something, people disagree, he comes back and says " you think this, you believe that, you are promoting a sin-and-still-be-saved theology." well, when you say things like this to people, and 95% of is it not true, then expect harsh response. remember, just because someone disagreed.

Emotional intelligence

Some talk a point, whatever that is provocative, and continually respond not to discuss but to provoke.
The reality is they are addicted to creating this emotional situation. If the community find a person keeps behaving in a particular way, that is probably because they actually do, and it is nothing to do with theology.

I would suggest Jason is such a person, and does not care how other people feel, his feelings are much more important.
