Of course the believer will live a different life but not by our own efforts.

The fruit of the Spirit will, in all its aspects, become increasingly present in the life of each believer .

That in itself reduces our propensity to sin.

As we submit to the transformation whereby our minds are renewed (Ro 12:2) the propensity to sin is further reduced.

As God begins to work in us the good works he has for us (Eph 2:10), the propensity to sin is further reduced.

But, until Jesus calls us home to Himself; the propensity to sin is never gone.
You say something is never gone, but you do not know.
This belief that fellowship or communion with Christ does not lead to a pleasing and acceptable
walk, is a faith position, no more.

And it does not matter if you personally achieve it or not, but to believe it is impossible has other
implications. It is like saying I am in a tunnel but the light shinning through is an illusion so I may
as well stay where I am, because nothing is worthwhile following.

And language is a strange thing. We find it hard to say what is wrong or right about things
and trip up constantly or appear to. But much of this is not sin but a complex interplay of
motivations and emotions.

It is much better to simplify everything into, issues that are obvious sin, to resolve, love
that needs to be shown and praise to the Lord that needs to be given.

God will deal with sin and confusions we get into, and grace will abound to resolve and bring
about a righteous conclusion. What is clear is teaching that behaviour is irrelevant and we are
just accepted leads to heresy and rebellion and the destruction of the message.

God uses love and loving people to His glory, and legalists always with criticise everything.
God does not fail to see who and what we really are and work with us. It is really this simple.
We are regarded as righteous because of our walk and faith, without either we will die and
shrivel up with what appears to be life, but will be cast aside.

And we are justified by Christ and the cross, washed clean, but again many do not believe this.
They see themselves still standing in sinful behaviour. The hope of walking like Christ is just a
distant dream, like a stranger who should not actually be part of the church.
