I agree there is a difference between should and must……..just saying…….

[Deut 6:5 is implicit within the Law. You can't separate it out from the rest of the Law just because it's not considered as part of what man deems to be the "613."]

Sure you can………just like you can separate the Great Commission from the Law (613), or Baptism, Foot Washing and Communion…….and others……..
I know what you are saying about the others……..your last comment…… J

Now, I suppose I should state my belief?......... J

I believe the 10 Commandments are still with the Church today…….but I also believe that the Two Greatest given by Jesus encompass most/if not all other Laws…….and the 10 as well. I believe Jesus gave the Church specific instructions on what to do……….which may be considered Commandments or Doctrins……whatever……and we are to do them……but these were not part of the Law (613) even though they may encompass some of the Law. I believe Jesus FULFILLED the Law………and established a new law, the Law of Faith…………as stated in Scripture. We who are alive in Christ are dead to the Law.
(but, now, that’s just me………..so)

For the most part, I agree with all of this. My stance has always been that the individual laws provide specific examples of how to do the 10, and Jesus' 2.

Love your neighbor. How? Return his cow.

If you're doing the 613 for the sake of doing only the 613, you're missing the point. But if you do them because you know it fulfills the 2, that's when there is a benefit in doing them.

I replied to this same comment of yours in another thread, but the Holy Spirit leads me through all of the Biblical Feast days, even in preparation of the upcoming ones in the next month and a half.

True Story.
