Hi reneweddaybyday...Ii never looked at it like that before...Yes God starts working in us as soon as we are born again, He gives us a brand new heart, He knows forgiving others is not an instant thing, forgiveness has to be worked on, it`s very painful in some situations, i know this myself, we can pretend to forgive untill the memory hits us once again and we are back to the unforgivness...It`s a process that only God can do, but once He knows our hearts are willing to forgive, then the beauty begins, so God is not going to draw back from where He is at work on us if we die before we have truly forgive for He knows our was willing…xox...
Right. That is all I am saying. In process of time, as we learn to trust Father, we give more and more of ourselves to Him and allow Him to cleanse and mold us, maybe we can give to Him that awful, horrible thing that happened to us. And He will take it and cause healing to take place in our hearts. It takes a lot of courage and trust to give to Him that one thing that is stopping us from forgiving others their trespasses against us. For some, it may happen early on in their walk with God. For others, it may take longer. For those who take a little longer, God is not going to not forgive them, nor does He reinstate sins to His children for which He has already forgiven them.
