Jesus said that if the people had not praised God when He rode the donkey into Jerusalem the very stones would have cried out. Would you believe that? Why not the trees. If rocks can cry out

[h=1]Luke 19:40(CJB)[/h] [SUP]40 [/SUP]But he answered them, “I tell you that if they keep quiet, the stones will shout!”

So why not a mountain split or hills drip honey or trees talk? Or donkeys talk, or axe heads float or. someone walking on water or.....

I guess my question is to you Why to do you doubt...Do you not care about your soul.

Matthew: 21. 19. And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

20. And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away! - Bible Offline

The question the disciples asked AFTER they saw the literal fig tree withered. They asked how soon is the fig tree withered?

If they're looking at the literal withered fig tree, what is the fig tree they're asking about?
They were asking about the fig tree that Jesus caused to wither which was a literal fig tree. Again, there is nothing in the context that would lead the reader to apply the fig tree as representing Israel. You are forcing the issue. If anything Jesus' withering of the fig tree was a teaching on faith. For afterwards Jesus said the following to the disciples:

"Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask in prayer.”

Could you answer the question I asked please:)

I asked - if the disciples were standing there looking at the withered fig tree what fig tree were they talking about when they asked how long before the tree is withered.

They were not asking how long before it withered. They asked Jesus how it had withered so fast, within a couple hours

In the kjv they asked how soon is the fig tree whithered away, not how long did it take to whither.

LOL They were marveling at how fast it happened. LOL Its not a bad thing to cross reference with other versions...I'm sure King James won't have your head for it.

Hello KJV1611,

The above is not addressing the issue. You need to look at the scripture and provide, within the context, where the fig tree is identified as being symbolic for Israel. You also need to look at the what Jesus said afterwards regarding the disciples having faith. For the whole purpose of Jesus causing the fig tree to wither was a teaching tool regarding faith.

Are they asking a question, or making a statement?

They were saying (which indicates statement) Not asking. And Soon being quickly. They marveled at how quickly it withered away.

I think.

A spirit filled believer can curse just about any thing, but it is a scary situation. I have never cursed a person, and dare not, but i will curse the thing that hinders me. I cursed a convenient store once, because the clerk made me so mad. lo and behold ,within two weeks it had closed down. you really have to use judgment when you curse something. The key word here is spirit filled.

If the fig tree didn't symbolize Israel, who did it symbolize? The disciples saw the DEAD fig tree and AFTER they saw it they asked "How soon is the fig tree withered away!" If the KJV language is tripping you up, here's the question in modern English "How long will it be until the fig tree is whithered away". What fig tree are they talking about?

How does a person make a statement by ASKING "how long". How long isn't a statement, it's a question.
