read 1 corinthians 15:55-56 it quotes from hosea 13:14 and u see i think it defines death right????????????
what is teh death talked about here u see????? i think its sin.....

1 corinthians 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

so as u can see maybe the death thats beign abolished isnt physical death but the sting of death, which is sin and being under the law........... u see? thats what it speaks about in corinthians and romans and even hosea what paul quotes in 1 cor 15:55.........
has anyone noticed this?????? u would think that my big mon playaz plainword locutus would have noticed it yes?

You insist on looking in a mirror and then describing what you see. Your post describes YOUR THEOLOGY.

Your THEOLOGY is plum full of MALARKY!

LOOK HOW FAR YOU HAVE TO TWIST THE SCRIPTURES, and even BEND your imagination to make it FIT your MADE UP INTERPRETATION!

Revelation 9:6-11 (NKJV)
[SUP]6 [/SUP] In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.
{NEVER HAS HAPPENED YET, BUT IT WILL!}
[SUP]7 [/SUP] The shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle. {THESE ARE DEMONS} On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men.
[SUP]8 [/SUP] They had hair like women's hair,
{THE ROMAN SOLDIER WAS REQUIRED TO KEEP HIS HAIR MUCH SHORTER THAN A WOMAN'S}

FIRST CENTURY STATUE OF A ROMAN SOLDIER

and their teeth were like lions' teeth.

[SUP]9 [/SUP] And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots with many horses running into battle.
[SUP]10 [/SUP] They had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails. {THESE ARE DEMONS} Their power was to hurt men five months.
[SUP]11 [/SUP] And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon.
{AND THEY HAVE A DEMON COMMANDER.}
Plus,they could not hurt the 144k Jews,so the historicist HAS TO BELIEVE the Romans ,or the arrows,asked the Jews if they could sting them.

....and,the scorpions were told not to eat grass or trees.

Historicists HAVE TO DISMISS no brainers.

Pitiful

No,it has to do with the effects of sin on doomed mankind.

The redeemed have a glorious eternal inheritance.( no sting,but rather a huge payday). So death is welcome.
The doomed have a sting,hell and the LOF.

The law brought "transgression"
It is as if a man puts a sign in his yard. " do not walk on grass"
That is that mans written law.
Prior to the sign,ones universal ethics said " I should respect his lawn"

Now,with the sign,I broke his law. ( I saw the sign,but broke his newly established law)

You need to "flesh" this out a bit Muzungu, what LAW was the power of sin? - I'll give you a clue:

Rom 7:9 I was once alive apart from the Law; but when the commandment came, sin became alive and I died.

Rom 7:10 and this commandment, which was to result in life, proved to result in death for me;

I hope it's from a hard days work and not from hanging out with the Rastas.

Yes in the context he is speaking of the Law of Moses which included the 10 - he identified what he was referring to in the previous verse:

Rom 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? May it never be! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, “YOU SHALL NOT COVET.”

Yus - look back to Genesis:

Gen 2:17 but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die.”

The tree was the equivalent or type of the Law - in the day he broke that tree law he died, yet he continued to live physically for 900 or so years - just as Paul continued to live physically after he broke one of the Ten commandments.

Well, if Lord gathers the church within the year, and I hope he does, then mid and post trib are right out the window and that because the tribulation hasn't begun yet.
lol the great tribulation began just under 2000 years ago.

No. WRONG. Sorry PW, it has to be said. You are misreading Paul

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

[SUP]50 [/SUP]Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Corruptible flesh DOES NOT become incorrupt. READ IT AGAIN. Our old body DOES NOT inherit a NEW BODY!!

@KJV

7) the DOJ really showed to the Church, and the Gentiles, how merciful God is. By rights all mankind deserves the death penalty because of our sinfulness. But Jesus rescued us from that. However, as apostate Jewry just point blank refused so great a salvation, they rejected mercy and therefore suffered the penalty of the Law. God put the offer to mankind in black and white. You can accept the free gift of grace, bought with the blood of Jesus, or you can reject Jesus and put yourself under condemnation.

Isaiah 26:19-21 KJV
[19] Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

[20] Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.

[21] For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

Notice the order above.

  1. Dead men rise with Christs dead body.
  2. People are hidden until Gods indignation is passed.
  3. God's wrath.
