So you believe what God cleansed is still unclean?

Acts 10
15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

Do you go around Preaching what God has cleansed is unclean?
It sounds like you do.
You may want to study the account. Gentiles were considered unclean prior to God giving Peter the go ahead to present the gospel message to Cornelius and the others. And that message included the need to be water baptized in the name of Jesus for remission of sin.

PS

Peter was told not call what God had cleansed common.Peter did not need to try to clean the gentiles after God had already cleaned them.

As for the holy Ghost. He comes in Yeshua name.

John 14:26
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
Notice Peter's comment about not withstanding God after seeing God fill them with the Holy Ghost. (Acts 11:17-18) What did Peter do after they received the Holy Ghost? He commanded they be baptized in water in the name of Jesus. (Acts 47:48) Clearly Peter understood that to withstand God and not allow them to be obedient to the command would be to interfere with their ability to receive repentance unto life. Even after the Holy Ghost was received, Cornelius and the others had to be given the opportunity to repent and be baptized. It's a choice everyone must make. Jesus said all must repent or perish. (Luke 13:3)

"Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?
18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life." Acts 11:17-18

I read the account.
Peter was sent to preach the gospel and them who believe were baptized by God.

Peter then took it upon himself to baptised them himself in water. He did not need to clean what God had already cleaned.

It's the same with Paul
Paul also took it upon himself to baptised when he was not told too.Paul repented himself of his error and thanked God that he had not baptized anymore than he already had.

I have no doubt, that you would believe Paul was sent to baptize when he wasn't .

1 corinth 1

14 I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;

15 Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.

16 And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.

17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

But better than any account ,I have my own testimony .I read the gospel and believed the gospel and was baptized by God in his holy spirit .

Mark 16
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

They needed not be baptized in water lest their own works have saved them.

They are saved by faith, not by works.

Just think of all the people Paul did not baptise in water. You believe all those people who heard the gospel and were baptized in the holy spirit are all condemned to o hell because Paul didn't baptise them In water.

As I have learned; reading the bible is not the same as reading academic books.
It requires A Divine Revelation from God before we understand the meaning.

Example;
When Jesus entered into a temple.
The equivalent of Temple in our times are the Church, Cathedral or Chapel.
But to Jesus, Temple is His Body.

Therefore: Jesus is using man's word but with different meaning.

JOHN 2:19-21
19
Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
21 But he spake of the temple of his body.

Another example is when Jesus talk to his disciples about Leaven. Of course in Man's understanding (literal meaning) Leaven is use in Bread.
But when Jesus explain or Reveal the meaning of Leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees is The Wrong Doctrines of The Pharisees and Sadducees.

MATTHEW 16:6-12
6
Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
7 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread.
8 Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?
9 Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
10 Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
11 How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?
12
Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

This is how I learned in reading the Bible requires A Divine Revelation.
Jesus must explain the meaning because Jesus is using Man's word but different meaning.

Temple & Leaven although they are words which the meaning is very clear to us but, they are Parables.

This is why Jesus must Reveal The Meaning to his disciples because Jesus is speaking in Parables.

MARK 4:34
34
But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples

Therefore the Baptism of John The Baptist in Water into Repentance.
The literal meaning of water is very clear to us. Water is what we drink everyday. Water is what we use when taking shower. Water is what we mix in our cooking. Water is what we use in washing our clothes & dishes.

But since Jesus is speaking in Parable (Mark 4:34).
What is the water according to Jesus that John The Baptist used in Baptism ?

I may say this is A Divine Revelation.

Upon reading my bible, Jesus answered my question, What is the Water to Jesus.
According to Jesus, the meaning of water is The Word Of God.

EPHESIANS 5:26
26
That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

John The Baptist is not using literal water in his baptism but a Word of God.
Since John when he baptized he submerged them in water or under the water.
Therefore: The Real Baptism of John the Baptist is to become under in all of the words of God.
Means we have to accept all what is written in the Holy Bible from Genesis to Revelation.

Let us try to do it by not ignoring even 1 word in the Bible.
Remember, this is only the baptism of John the Baptist in Water into Repentance or The Preparation to the way of the Lord.

MATTHEW 3:3
3
For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight

After the baptism of John, next is the Baptism of The Lord Jesus Christ with The Holy Ghost and with Fire.

MATTHEW 3:10-11
11
I indeed baptize you with WATER UNTO REPENTANCE. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the HOLY GHOST, and WITH FIRE:

One of the most abused thing of the church is water baptism and the word Baptism in context to the Holy Spirit empowerment.

Jesus is the one who was baptized in the Holy Spirit, as John said in the Gospel of John, chapter 1: 33.

The fire speaks about the sanctification process the believer goes through in their walk with the Lord. If your heart is not right and your life is not submissive to Jesus as Lord, You are not known by Jesus.

You are known by the Fruits of the Spirit not by the Gifts of the Spirit.

You can speak in tongues, cast out the devil, be water baptized in Jesus' name, and still not be known by Jesus IF the Life of Christ is not seen in you. The Fire Purifies the Believer.
The gifts of the Holy Spirit without LOVE PROFIT, YOU NONTHING!

without a pure Heart No one will see God if you read what is known as the "B" Attitdues in Matthew chapter 5.

Fire Purifies. Our heart are to be guarded at all cost and many need to place their hands over their mouth.

Most want to talk about methods water baptism for salvation, YET they have Love or fruits of the Spirit that cause one to see the life of Jesus in them. They can't lead people to cross let alone get oen water baptized. Or filled with the Holy Ghost. making a bunch of half baked cakes. focusing on methods and doctrinal positions BUT have not Introduced the unsaved to Jesus. NOR do they want to after being victimized by those who tell you you must do our way as we understand the word of God .

Be baptized in Jesus name speak in tongues and YET Jesus can still tell you " I never knew you." OOPS!

I never knew you. Your heart is Perverted , Polluted, and Plagued and the Fire of the Holy Spirit Needs to invade your hearts and male you read. You must humble yourself, allow the Holy Spirit to Search your heart of things that GOD knows that offend him.

There are many people today who were baptized in Jesus name and speak in tongues bound by Sexual perversions and unforgiveness. Guess what? IF you don't let the Holy Spirit deal with that in your life ...... He don't know you.

The idea that apostles of Jesus took it upon themselves to act in opposition to the wishes of God is simply not true. Jesus entrusted Peter with the keys to the kingdom. (Matt. 16:17-19) Peter presented the same message (keys) to all groups of humanity. (Acts 2:38-41, 8:12-18, 9:17-18, 10:43-48, 19:1-6, 22:16) Paul later elaborated on concepts relative to the gospel and preached the same message as Peter. (Acts 19:1-6) The actions of Jesus and His apostles are a road map for all future generations to follow.

If you are convicted, please don't blame me. I do have data. And it is not Judging. It is what Jesus said. And I have not mentioned any names, so are you looking for names? If you can't judge the times we are in now and discern that on you, not me.

When you call out truth issues in the church, those who want to act like Wing-woke types cry, "You judging ." no, I am not; I am warning as all Pastors and Preachers should be doing, calling sin . Sin. I was not I who has said You're not saved IF you have not been baptized in Jesus' name.

Nor was it I who wrote the words of Jesus when he said, " I never knew you." I will be judged for the word that has impacted me and what I did with it. It is not judging a person to say what Jesus said or speak of issues of life with believers. It's amazing all that I said you only saw what you think is Judging.

Just think of all the people Paul did not baptise in water. You believe all those people who heard the gospel and were baptized in the holy spirit are all condemned to o hell because Paul didn't baptise them In water.

1 corinth 1

14 I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;

Paul's comments were relative first to the church of Corinth. He was appalled by, and addressing their misconception that who baptized a person held some significance.

Scripture reveals Paul did baptize people. (Acts 16:14-15, 28-33; 18:8, 19:1-5, 29; 1 Cor. 16:15) Therefore the correct context can not be understood to mean baptism was not necessary. Upon study of scripture it can be understood that Paul's primary ministry was to preach and left the baptizing to others. (1 Cor. 1:14, Acts 18:8)

Water baptism references:

Prior to beginning his ministry Paul was told to be baptized to wash away his sins. (Acts 22:16)
Acts 16:14-15 Lydia/family.
Acts 16:28-33 Jailer/family is baptized.
Acts 18:8 Crispus; Paul baptized this leader of the synagogue. Someone else baptized members of Crispus’ household and other Corinthian believers.

Acts 19:1-5 Over 20 years after Peter said everyone must be baptized, (Acts 2:38-39) Paul baptized 12 individuals from Ephesus.

Acts 19:29 Gaius

1 Cor. 1:16, 16:15 Household of Stephanas

The idea that water baptism is not required because it is not mentioned in all salvation scriptures is moot. The same would then apply to repentance, yet repentance is not optional. (Luke 13:3, Acts 3:19) Nor do all scriptures touch on the necessity to be indwelt by the Holy Spirit. (Rom. 8:9) In order to gain proper understanding of any biblical topic requires the study of all relevant scriptures.

Obedience to water baptism is an essential element of the NT rebirth. It alone does not save anyone. Belief in Jesus and obedience regarding repentance and water baptism in the name of Jesus is commanded of everyone. In addition all must receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Mark 16:15-16, Acts 2:36-41, 8:12-18, 9:17-18, 10:43-48, 19:1-6, 22:16)

Scripture is the final authority on any topic and the truth concerning baptism is easily understood for those willing to accept it.

Well you go ahead and be obedient to mans water baptism.
And just so you know.Water is not the name of Jesus Christ. If your baptised in water ,you get wet.If you are baptise in the the holy Ghost then you are baptized into Christ and the logos.

I was baptized in the holy Ghost by God through Jesus Christ. It took place while I was praying Aug 31 ,1998.It was about noon on a monday.
There's no mistaking when all your sins are washed away by God.And that cleansing does not come by water.
But there have been others who taught water baptism was essential for that is what they believe to be true. They knew no other baptism.

Mathew 23:25
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.

For them who believe and are baptized by God ,they understand which one baptism is needed .
Notice the verse below does not say he that believeth and has multiple baptisms shall be saved.

Mark 16
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Ephesians 4:4-5

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Paul learned one baptism is needed. Not multiple baptisms .
