and well they might and do because Mary did not die and could not die and would not be allowed to die if I was God and had her for mother - anyway why do you believe she died since it is not in the Bible - wincam
wincam, where you have it from that she did not die?

like most Catholics I had not and could not understand why Protestants refuse to do what God and His angel did viz hail Mary and call her blessed - could it not just be because they regard the mother of Jesus Christ as 'the whore of Babylon' therefore they just cannot regard a whore as blessed above all women - wincam
Let me tell you what I'm thinking as someone born and raised in the Catholic Church, became my younger brother's godmother when I was ten, (I promised to raise him in the Lord AND the RCC), born-again right after my 16th birthday, Mom died three months later, so made me promise -- on her deathbed -- to keep the promise I made at 10, and I stuck with the Catholic Church until I went to college, so couldn't raise my little brother anymore. One thing you have to catch on to is I really do understand the Catholic Church and yet I walked/left when I could, because of its teachings. (Dad let me off the hook at 18, when the sermon was about "Mary, Queen of the Universe" and even he couldn't swallow that story. He's still Catholic, so he still buys much of what he was taught too. And, remembering that vow, we had that discussion with my little brother in the car, so he heard the problems we had with that sermon, yet could still remain a Catholic.)

No one thinks Mary wasn't blessed. This is something you made up in your own head that has no base in reality. It's just that you -- personally, so not even blaming the RCC for this one -- made up your own personal definition for the word blessed. We all believe Mary was blessed because not only was that in God's word as a description for her, from what we know of her life, she proved the description accurately.

BUT whore of Babylon? Many people have different definitions for that phrase. I have never met anyone who thinks it is Mary, therefore, once again, you're just making this up as you go.

So your charge against Protestants is about as valid as someone saying, "Rintintin will be the next President of the United States."

And is taken about as seriously too.

Next game/post you want to go with to play on here? I really do understand this is merely a game for you to play. You'll post a few truly ridiculous concepts as posts for the next few weeks to few months and then disappear for a few more weeks or months. Generally speaking, I ignore your posts because they tend to be this "serious" always.

One thing I'll give you though -- you do have a way of making people answer as if you had any intention of being serious.

Because its natural for a human to die. So the proof she did not die lies on your side.

Btw, she is not mother of God, she is the mother of man Jesus Christ. His deity was not from Mary but from the Holy Spirit. Keep that in mind.

Mary is NOT to be hailed, prayed to, bowed down to, or worshipped. Period.
Meh. I'd hail her if I ever saw her. But, don't worry. I'd more than hail you if I ever saw you. (Probably go all the way up to doing my victory dance and hug you -- which is a big compliment, because generally speaking, I don't hug. lol)

(Hail just means greet.)

it is unnatural for humans to die - even the medical profession does not really know why humans suddenly judder and start to fail - humans were not really created to just die - wincam

True, but because of sin, humans die.
Mary was human
Therefore Mary died.

Are you really 85 years old and do not know that years of use and abuse of one's limbs and organs and bodily systems and functions contributes to their wearing out and down and eventually failing? You make doctors out to be a whole lot more stupid than most people lol. Scripturally a Spiritual rebirth is required to attain eternal life so it would seem rational to conclude that the flesh was always meant to pass away, despite what you say. Jesus said it counted for nothing, after all. Do you disagree with Jesus? Oh, wait, yes you do. Never mind. :)

Wrong. There would be no need for the tree of life if humans were naturally immortal.

And you surely know people die, you just play the game so you dont have to admit that there is no reason for the Bible to tell us about every death. The proof burden lies on your side.

"The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God." Lk 1:35

Read it again. Jesus is the Son of God, because of the Holy Spirit. Mary was a human and thats why Jesus can be also called the Son of Man.

Do not change it or you will get into idolatry.

not at all - that is not Christianity and what the Bible says - it is obvious that God and death are incompatible and God did not create death - see Wisdom which sadly can only be found in Catholic bibles[wisdom 1:13-14 and 23-24] - wincam

That Idolatry is a sin is also in the Catholic bible. That Idolators will die the second death is also in the bible.
When man sinned the consequence was death. which means God did create it. Stop twisting the Gospel.

Im not a practicing Catholic but I will say this in 732AD at the battle of tours, if Charles Martel hadn't stopped the Muslims exspanding into Europe. Christianity would surely look different than today if around at all. that battle played a major part in saving Christianity. there were no baptist, Lutheran,Methodist fighters in 732AD

Why the Apocrypha Isn't in the Bible.

  1. Not one of the apocryphal books is written in the Hebrew language (the Old Testament was written in Hebrew). All Apocryphal books are in Greek, except one which is extant only in Latin.
  2. None of the apocryphal writers laid claim to inspiration.
  3. The apocryphal books were never acknowledged as sacred scriptures by the Jews, custodians of the Hebrew scriptures (the apocrypha was written prior to the New Testament). In fact, the Jewish people rejected and destroyed the apocrypha after the overthrow of Jerusalem in 70 A.D.
  4. The apocryphal books were not permitted among the sacred books during the first four centuries of the real Christian church.
  5. The Apocrypha contains fabulous statements which not only contradict the "canonical" scriptures but themselves. For example, in the two Books of Maccabees, Antiochus Epiphanes is made to die three different deaths in three different places.
  6. The Apocrypha includes doctrines in variance with the Bible, such as prayers for the dead and sinless perfection. https://jesus-is-lord.com/apocryph.htm

Tree of life in Garden. I think it says enough.

Everything what is physical must naturally die. Or else there would be no place on this planet for all creatures. I do not know what would happen to Adam if he could eat from the tree of life, how would his body be changed. Maybe it would be similar process like to our bodies when Christ will return.

But it is not our topic, our topic is Mary. For Mary it was natural to die. If you claim she did not die, prove it.

I can only assume that the next step in Catholic evolution of Mariology will be the deification of Mary.
