The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil

Does a dog know good or evil or that it is naked? Many miss the fact that the tree contained both sets of knowledge......the knowledge of GOOD and the knowledge of EVIL.........this brings up a massive paradox......if Adam or EVE did not know GOOD or EVIL until the tree was partaken of......??????

Chew on that for a minute......they did know the rule....but did they understand the consequence of said action....death?

Exactly. They were like innocent children and did not even know anything but good

it was after they ate that their eyes were opened and they were aware that what they had done was not good

which is why they hid themselves (something they had never done before)
and, because they behaved differently by hiding themselves GOD knew they had eaten of the tree which was forbidden them
to eat

I’m curious how people define: The tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

It means choice between good and evil,people would have to make the choice between pleasing God,or doing their own thing.

Adam and Eve were created knowing God,but when they sinned,then all their offspring had a choice,so they were born not knowing God,so we are sinners,for we will do wrong before we come to God,and straighten it out,but we do not have any of Adam and Eve's sin put on us,for God said everybody will bear their own sin,but they gave mankind a choice,so we are born not knowing God.

Adam and Eve would of never sinned if an outside source did not tempt them,so God allowed Satan to tempt Eve,which the first try did not work,as she said,we may not eat the fruit,so Satan tempted her to believe that she would be greater than her present state,and she fell for it,and Eve tempted Adam by showing Adam it was alright to eat the fruit,for she did not die.

The tree in the garden was because God gave them a choice to obey Him,or do their own thing.
