The first thing is to believe there is a God,that created all things, which the Bible says that creation testifies that there is a higher power, and His attributes, that He is intelligent, powerful, wise, and good, and loving, for He provided food, and the means to make clothing, and shelter, and since God is good, and loves people, then they should do the same, which they are without excuse for not believing in a higher power, that created all things, and for not conducting themselves properly towards other people, which love is the fulfilling of the law,and is how the people that knew not God,will be judged.

Man has a sin nature,in that he will do wrong sometimes, with no way to reverse it and be right with God,even if he comes to God,so there is no way for man to ever be right with God to have a spiritual relationship with Him,for only a sinless man can approach a holy God,on mankind's behalf.

The man Christ Jesus is our savior, for He is a sinless man.No man is sinless,so God manifest Himself in the flesh, which means He manifested all His attributes to the man Christ Jesus, and the Spirit in Christ is still connected to the omnipresent Spirit of God,for God cannot be separated, which Jesus is God with us,and showing a visible manifestation of Himself, which the Bible says God laid down His life, and purchased the Church with His own blood, and God reconciled mankind back to Himself in the person of Jesus Christ,God and man in harmony.

Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins, but the blood of bulls, and goats, cannot completely take away sins, but the blood of Jesus takes all sins away, which allows the person to have the Holy Spirit, which produces salvation.

The man Christ Jesus died, rose again, and to newness of life, which the Bible says baptism saves us,and if we are buried with Christ,we will rise to newness of life,so people have to identify with the man Christ Jesus,by repenting of their sins, being water baptized, which Jesus said we must be born of the water, and Spirit, and receive the Holy Spirit.

We baptize in the name of Jesus, for Jesus is the name of the Father,Son,and Holy Spirit, which Jesus said He came in the name of the Father, the Son inherited the name from the Father, and the Holy Spirit comes in the name of Jesus, which Luke says baptism is to be done in Jesus name, which Jews,Gentiles, and Samaritans, were all baptized in the name of Jesus,in the book of Acts, which there is no other name to be saved, but Jesus' name, and everything we do in word, and deed,is to be done in Jesus' name.

Act 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Act 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Act 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

This is biblical, without a doubt, this is how we obtain salvation, but denomination wins sometimes,in their belief that people believe, that is contrary to the Bible salvation plan.

Of course baptism can be bypassed because of certain circumstances, like the thief on the cross,or if somebody has not come to the knowledge of baptism, but confesses Christ, and dies without the knowledge of baptism.

There are many different theories among Christians and even them written about in the bible as to exactly how one obtains the Salvation of God.How do you validate which one is the correct one?
Instead of trying to find out what theory is the right theory, I would suggest obeying the Lord’s commandments. You really can’t go wrong by doing that.

Sounds like Oneness Pentecostal theology. We are saved by grace through faith, not works, including water baptism.

In Acts 2:38, "for the remission of sins" does not refer back to both clauses, "you all repent" and "each one of you be baptized," but refers only to the first. Peter is saying "repent unto the remission of your sins," the same as in Acts 3:19. The clause "each one of you be baptized" is parenthetical. This is exactly what Acts 3:19 teaches except that Peter omits the parenthesis.

*Also compare the fact that these Gentiles in Acts 10:45 received the gift of the Holy Spirit (compare with Acts 2:38 - the gift of the Holy Spirit) and this was BEFORE water baptism (Acts 10:47).

*In Acts 10:43 we read ..whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins. These Gentiles received the gift of the Holy Spirit - Acts 10:45 - (once again compare with Acts 2:38 - the gift of the Holy Spirit) when they believed on the Lord Jesus Christ - Acts 11:17 - (compare with Acts 16:31 - Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved) BEFORE water baptism - Acts 10:47 - this is referred to as repentance unto life - Acts 11:18.

*So the only logical conclusion when properly harmonizing Scripture with Scripture is that faith in Jesus Christ "implied in genuine repentance" (rather than water baptism) brings the remission of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit (Luke 24:47; Acts 2:38; 3:19; 5:31; 10:43-47; 11:17,18; 15:8,9; 16:31; 26:18). *Perfect Harmony*

A. There's only one salvation and that's through Christ.

B. I don't have to. That's God's job.

C. I can usually tell by what people do and say.

please, explain what you mean by "many different theories" -- list them.
then we can talk about them.
Works of the law.

Water Baptism.

Sacraments.

Confession.

Purity/sinlessness.

These are the ones that I've seen people promote on this site. I'm sure there are probably more that I'm forgetting or ignorant of.

Even if he's not sincere its a good question he has asked. How do we know which way is right? Faith. Faith is how we know. But how can someone who is not saved know for sure which is the right way?

We usually tell them and then the issue is whether they believe God or they don't.

Many books have been written to defend the gospel of Jesus Christ and many pastors spend all of their time doing evangelism so that people may come along with many servants of the gospel.

The issue is not that people don't know or they don't understand.

The issue is that people love darkness instead of light and that factors into the choices they make.

John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Those that don't want to be reproved wear a cloak of righteousness so they accept the works righteousness gospel that if they do enough good works to outweigh their bad works then God has to accept them which is a false way to God.

They are saying that if they accept Christ's righteousness alone then their deeds would come into the light and they should be reproved because the works righteousness people have an argument that a person that gets saved and sins should be reproved so they hide their sins and work for righteousness so that they don't have to come into the light.

Those who don't want to stand in Christ's righteousness get a pope and hide under the Catholic Church's authority which is another cloak.

Jesus said He is the way (not some church), He (Jesus) is the truth and the life and no one comes by Jesus (not a church) but by Him (Jesus).

Jesus is the door and those who go around the door to get into the sheepfold climb up some other way and climbing up requires human effort or works-righteousness. Those people are thieves and robbers according to Jesus.

They hide in this cloak of unrighteousness because it isn't God's righteousness because the truth would reprove them.

Luke 8:18 Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.

2 Peter 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Matthew 13:19 "When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside.

There is a group of people who are not careful. They don't understand but they let the devil talk them out of salvation.

Matthew 13:20 "But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy;
Matthew 13:21 "yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.

There are people who stumble at what God says and what the world says. Some of those people are sitting on the fence and they need to be on God's side.

Matthew 13:22 "Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.

There are those who care more about how they are seen in front of other people than wanting to be a Christian.

Matthew 13:23 "But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty."

There are people who have a good foundation to stand on, they hear the word and understand it, they bear fruit and it produces a profit.

There is only ONE way God tells us in the Scriptures on how we receive Salvation.

What other theories are you talking about? Its not up to us to prove there is only one way to receive Salvation, its up to you to prove there are many different ways to receive Salvation.

Show us where in the Scriptures we can receive Salvation other then from God!
