Well, this right here is example of the present Christian church. There are those that believe they have the truth and then there are others that believe they have the truth, and then there are others, and others, and others, etc. And everyone calls every other belief system but their cult members (even if these people recognize and accept Christ as their savior, the only Son of God, and the only way to the Father) if they don't believe exactly as most Christians do. Again, that's the state of the Christian world today. It's perfectly disgusting. I frankly can't believe how presumptuous and pompous people are over their self-defined doctrines and interpretation of scriptures. God has not spoken to us in an audible voice telling us which denominations are right about this or that and which ones are wrong. And yet, we think any one of us has the authority to tell people they are wrong about their doctrines.

Anyone's considered a heretic by those that don't agree with his or her theology. The only things we can really work with and be certain of is how we treat others.
I absolutely love this!

Here is a good example. In another thread I brought up the Covenant made with Abram. Another replies (with likes), I am only interested in the covenant completed by Jesus on the cross.

I ask, is this not furthuring the confusion begun in or near the year 33? The reply is almost saying Yeshua was not a Jew fulfilling that covenant made with Abram.

It is time people give full credit to the faith of Abraham which is the faith of Yeshua. People really should stop confusing others by teaching the covenant completed by Yeshua is something other than that made with Abraham. When I see this ignorance, I mean lack of knowledge, it is earth shaking.

I have noticed that there is a lot of strange stuff getting posted on here. Universalism, modelism, thinking the mark of the beast is worshiping on Sunday , chipping your animals make you take the mark. People that believe eve had sex with the devil, and people that do not believe in the trinity. I know there are much more. Remember the dude that said the New Testament was not the bible. This site makes me worry about the state of the Christian church.

something to think about,at the top of the page is an "advanced search feature" so i searched for the post you are referring to,,,the one (are we closer to the chip?),,,is a question,in the op it ends with direct questions all ending with "question marks"

another mentioned about chipping our pets, also in the op is asking the members a "question",,,and also ends with a "question mark",,,i think about then is when i got to the statement ,,,"this site (i.e.c.c) makes me worry about the state of the christian church",,,and i thought "this site,we are all members of this site" now the others i did not locate.

this site is "us" and the most important member is god,not that "us is god,but that we are of his house/family"..so lets say a total stranger walk's up to one of us on the street and ask us a question regarding Christianity, are we suppose to think,"wow another weirdo"? are all of the new church members considered weirdos until they know all the answers to all of the all of the questions?

i remember when i was a boy,in the old church the windows were all made of wood,we(the young boys) went around and opened them at the beginning of service, there were waits on rollers and a rope went up the inside of the wall to the top of the window but some of the ropes were broke so we had to prop them up with sticks to let the breath of god inside.

there were three ceiling fans down the ridge on the inside and an old cloth covered wire rand to them all and to a leviathan wall switch but all the wires were stapled on the outside of the wall. when i was older the older men ran another wire across the ceiling down both walls and put some of the newer Westinghouse osculating fans up on the ceiling three on each side blowing air back and forth.

we had a big church in those days maybe 40 people, they all white washed it (lime, milk ect.) and varnished the floor's pew's ect. and as time went on they ran plumbing inside and built a restroom inside and a water fountain but it wasn't refrigerated like the new ones.

a man got mad at the preacher because he wouldnt give him any more money after discussing it with the deacons they said to him they had given him money for several months. i would leave my bible in the pew when i went home and they told me "take it home and read it",,one night the man came and burnt that church down but a woman who was digging in the rubble dug out that bible and gave it back to me.

i read the bible,Ive lost track how many times,i gave that bible to one of my boys(had to get one with bigger words lol),,,i can remember way back to the old church. i wish i could go back and open the windows and turn on the fans but you see i cant. Ive sure seen a whole lot of people dig through the bible and try to calculate the mark, and understand the tribulation,Ive seen one say this and another say that.

for what it's worth if a window is broken in the church put a sheet of glass. if it needs painting paint it,if it's hot open the windows. if it needs water run the pipes,if it burns down then all of you come together and build another. we are the church what ever the state of affairs are in it is as if we are looking in the mirror.

a few years ago i was confronted with a weird question,at least it made me feel uncomfortable Ive though to start another post about it sometime. I was talking you a group of youngsters from a school about education, retirement, marriage ect. and the most uncomfortable thing happened. they ask me "why would we do that?"

i ask them do what? they said get a diploma, plan our marriages, plan a retirement ect. they went on to explain that they all went to different churches with their parents and were all taught the same thing. that is the word will end in 2000, or it will end in 2012. they went on explaining that even on t.v. from one preacher to the other they all disagree on how but all agree that the signs all are there and the world will end before they retire, and they will be forced by a one world gov. to work where they say. they said as the world becomes more violent they would not want to see this happen to their spouses or children so didn't plan on getting married.

you see i was trapped in a weird question. i thought, wow the children really are listening to what we say and are about to live it. you see we the preachers, did preach sermon after sermon warning that the end was upon us. and now the children who listened are it seems obeying the thing the preachers said.

i think we have a lot of strange questions to ask our own selves, and i bet were going to be ask a whole lot more strange questions.,,,anyway i am from the old day and took a sharpshooter and cut a line around the trees and stuff and pulled the grass by hand before they invented the weed-eater and i admit it takes a couple of hours to do it,but you all are still trying to get the weed-eater to crank. any way,,,if were not careful and throw a fit while we prop the board under the window it will fall on us every time.

Cults not only twist scripture but they twist history as well. They have to or history would invalidate their error. You bought their lies hook, line, and sinker. So sad.
Fools never see their error.

That's not true. I've met plenty of foolish people that have repented from cult error. Maybe God will open your eyes as well. I pray He does.

I admit I was a fool and came back to the cross begging to be forgiven..and mean this literally.
