Gen 22:1 KJV - And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, [here] I [am].
Gen 22:2 KJV - And he said, Take now thy son, thine only [son] Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

Keep in mind that Isaac represents Jehovah, and Abraham represents his Father.

Gen 22:3 KJV - And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.
Gen 22:4 KJV - Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.
Gen 22:5 KJV - And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.
Gen 22:6 KJV - And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid [it] upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.
Gen 22:7 KJV - And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here [am] I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where [is] the lamb for a burnt offering?
Gen 22:8 KJV - And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
Gen 22:9 KJV - And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.

This is Jehovah's Father placing him on the cross.

Gen 22:10 KJV - And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.

But, what is this?

Gen 22:11 KJV - And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here [am] I.
Gen 22:12 KJV - And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only [son] from me.
Gen 22:13 KJV - And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind [him] a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.

This ram is the body, That Holy Thing told of in Luke 1:35

This verse I like especially.
Gen 22:8 KJV - And Abraham said, My son, God will provide Himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

It reminds me of a Hymn called

'Draw Nigh and Take the Body of the Lord'

where it says

"Salvation’s Giver, Christ, the only Son,
By His dear cross and blood the victory won.
Offered was He for greatest and for least,
Himself the Victim, and Himself the Priest."

That is indeed a foreshadowing of Christ's sacrifice.

Isaac obeyed Abraham even though he didn't fully understand the situation. Similarly, Jesus obeyed the Father even unto death, He said "not my will but thine be done".
Isaiah 53:7- He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

Abraham's willingness to sacrifice Isaac shows his love and faith in God. Do we have such love and faith in God that we are willing to give up anything for Him?

God offering His only begotten Son as atonement for sin shows the depth of His love for the world.

God provided a substitute, a ram, instead of Isaac after He saw Abraham's faith. This shows that God will provide for us when we obey Him. In addition, it can be likened to the substitutionary atonement of Christ. Our sins were placed on Him, He died so that those who believe in Him will not face the second death, and He subdued every kingdom of darkness and principalities and powers to give us victory. He was despised and condemned by those He gave His life for, He shed His precious blood to make us whiter than snow, and He became sin that we might be made the righteousness of God.
The benefits of the finished work of Christ and liberty of God's grace can be appropriated on the sinner who repents and believes in Jesus.

Isaiah 53:5- But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Now that Christ has been offered as sacrifice for us and bought us with His precious blood, we are to offer ourselves as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God in response and appreciation of His love and gift of salvation and by His grace and power we can live in accordance to His will. :) Rom 12:1-
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 1 Cor 6:20- For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Thank you eternal Father for your
matchless love for us.:)

I've also heard it said that Mt. Moriah and Mt. Calvary were the same location.

Luk 1:31 KJV - And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
Luk 1:32 KJV - He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
Luk 1:33 KJV - And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

The humanity is given the Earthly throne of David. But what happens next:

Luk 1:34 KJV - Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
Luk 1:35 KJV - And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Here the humanity is differentiated from the body by, a) the description of the conception; and b) therefore also that holy thing, called the Son of God.

Keep iin mind that Isaac represents Jehovah, and Abraham represents his Father.
The passage is Messianic for sure. Did you intend to say Isaac represents Christ?

Not Christ. Jehovah. The Father is showing Abraham how the cross was going to happen.

I disagree with your choice of words. The passage is messianic, thus speaking of the Messiah. . Isaac represents the one who would be sacrificed (Christ), Abraham represents the Father who offered up His only Son.

Jehovah (YHWH) is the name of God. In fact, the name YHWH represents the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

I agree....to an extent.
Jehovah does represent the Father. But; as a governor and prophet. He is separate from the Father in being but equal in thought. This is told in John 14. The works that he does is not his but the Father that sent him. In my Father's house...I go to prepare a place for you.
He shows he is separate.

Abraham’s servant (helper), Eleazar (God has helped) ..looks for Isaac's bride:)

John 14:16
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever,

He shows he is separate.

Now you are diving into Jesus' incarnte limitations He placed on Himself. This has nothing to do with the point I tried to make.

The passage is messianic. Webster: 1. of or relating to a messiah

Isaac is Abraham’s only begotten son. Jesus is the only Begotten Son of God. Abraham is the Father of Isaac. God is the Father of Jesus. You get the point, but let me take my point a step further.

The three day journey represents the three days in the tomb. The two young men on the journey represents the two thieves on the cross. The wood for the sacrifice represents the cross. Please understand, I'm only trying to clear up your word choice, not debating your view.

I took the time to read over this post again, and to be honest with you, I have no clue what doctrine you follow. To set the record straight. I do not create my own doctrine when replying to anyone in here. The Trinity doctrine was establish long before I came along. I stick to what was passed down to me, and I confirm what I believe by going to the word of God.

That said - based on your above post.

What this tells me is that you have two Gods or two Beings. One who is Jehovah and the other is the Father. And then you took this line of thought to John 14. This does not show that Jesus and His Father are separate (whatever that means), but it does reveal that Jesus is not His own Father.
But it does NOT show they are separte beings.

There is a connection . God saw that He had faith to know what God promised Abraham would happen even if Issac were to die.Weather he would raise Issac back to life or some other son. But God provided that Ram. The Ram symbolic of God's Son He would not hold back from us for our sins.

Jhn 14:23 KJV - Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
Jhn 14:24 KJV - He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
Jhn 14:28 KJV - Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come [again] unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
Jhn 14:31 KJV - But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
