The public ministry of Jesus began and ended with a feast.
Each was a fanfare of sorts heralding the start and finish.
So why the water at the wedding? It was symbolic of John
the baptist's call for the repentance of sin by baptism of water.
Why the wine, the wine greater than anyone ever tasted?
It was Jesus heralding in the baptism by the Holy Spirit. From
there His public ministry began. The end came with Jesus, rather
than turning the water into wine, turned His blood into wine.
He passed that wine around to the apostles to drink.

My question: were the 3 evangelists writing this on purpose or
am I having a wacky moment?

Well I've learned some bibles have it mentioning as a ministry he started at 30, and other bibles basically having the baptism at 30 years old, I'm leaning more to it being a baptism at 30.

Jesus had taught in the synagogues at 12 years old, I'm thinking He was teaching at 22 years old also. IMO

For sure best around :)

I can't remember the figured the amount how much He made, but I think it was over 30 gallons worth. That's a lot of wine. lol

I like the symbolic meaning you mentioned DustRhodes and it's logical observations. :)

More wine to mill on is at the cross, From the four gospels there is mentioned 3 different types offered.

1. Wine and Gall
2. Wine and Myrrh
3. Wine vinegar

I'm thinking this happened at 9am and at 12noon and at 3pm

Each jar held 20-30 gallons (John 2:6) for a total of 120-180 gallons of water; about 680 liters.

I also believe that the wedding at Cana was a visual picture of CHRIST's ministry as the LORD of the sabbath pouring into the 6 "earthen vessels" (signifying 6th day creation) water (for purification) and by HIS washing us restoring us to GOD through the wine of the new and better (marriage) covenant

Wow that's a whole winery... lol

I guess the host of the wedding had more than enough wine for many more weddings... :)

Just for fun I've been working on a personal project of mine,

Jesus changes water into wine A
John 2: 1~2
1 The third day, there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee. Jesus’ mother and brothers was there. 2 Jesus also was invited, with his disciples, to the wedding.

The parable of the sower
Matthew 13: 1~23
1 On that day Jesus went out of the house, and sat by the lake. 2 Great multitudes gathered to him, so that he entered into a boat, and sat, and all the multitude stood on the shore.
3 He spoke to them many things in parables, saying, “Behold, a farmer went out to sow. 4 As he sowed some seeds fell by the roadside, and the birds came and devoured them. 5 Others fell on rocky ground, where they didn’t have much soil, and immediately they sprang up, because they had no depth of earth. 6 When the sun had risen, they were scorched. Because they had no root, they withered away. 7 Others fell among thorns. The thorns grew up and choked them. 8 Others fell on good soil, and yielded fruit: some one hundred times as much, some sixty, and some thirty.
9 He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”
10 The disciples came, and said to him, “Why do you speak to them in parables?” 11 He answered them, “To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them. 12 for who ever has, to him will be given and he will have abundance, but whoever doesn’t have, from him will be taken away even that which he has.
13 therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they don’t see, and hearing, they don’t hear, neither do they understand. 14 In them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says, ‘By hearing you will hear, and will in no way understand; Seeing you will see, and will in no way perceive:
15 for this people’s heart has grown callous, their ears are dull of hearing, they have closed their eyes; or else perhaps they might perceive with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and would turn again; and I would heal them. 16 “But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear. 17 For most certainly I tell you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things which you see, and didn’t see them; and to hear the things which you hear, and didn’t hear them. 18 “Hear, then, the parable of the farmer. 19 When anyone hears the word of the Kingdom, and doesn’t understand it, the evil one comes, and snatches away that which has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown by the roadside. 20 What was sown on the rocky places, this is he who hears the word, and immediately with joy receives it; 21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while. When oppression or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. 22 What was sown among the thorns, this is he who hears the word, but the cares of this age and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. 23 What was sown on the good ground, this is he who hears the word, and understands it, who most certainly bears fruit, and produces, some one hundred times as much, some sixty, and some thirty.”

The parable of the weeds
Matthew 13: 24~30
24 He set another parable before them, saying, “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field, 25 but while people slept, his enemy came and sowed darnel weeds also among the wheat, and went away. 26 But when the blade sprang up and produced fruit, then the darnel weeds appeared also. 27 The servants of the householder came and said to him, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where did these darnel weeds come from?’ 28 “He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ “The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and gather them up?’ 29 “But he said, ‘No, lest perhaps while you gather up, the darnel weeds you root up the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and in the harvest time I will tell the reapers, “First, gather up the darnel weeds, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn.” ’ ”

The parables of the mustard seed and the yeast
Matthew 13: 31~35
31 He set another parable before them, saying, “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field. 32 which indeed is smaller than all seeds, But when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in its branches.”
33 He spoke another parable to them. “The Kingdom of Heaven is like yeast, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, until it was all leavened.”

Jesus’ Mother and brothers wanting speak to him
Matthew 12: 46~49
46 While he was speaking to the multitudes, behold, his mother and his brothers stood outside, seeking to speak to him. 47 One said to him, “Behold, your mother and your brothers stand outside, seeking to speak to you.” 48 But he answered him who spoke to him, “Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?” 49 He stretched out his hand toward his disciples, and said, “Behold, my mother and my brothers! 50 For whoever does the will of my Father who is in heaven, he is my brother, and sister, and mother.”

Jesus changes water into wine B
John 2: 3~10
3 When the wine ran out, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no wine.” 4 Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does that have to do with you and me? My hour has not yet come.” 5 His mother said to the servants, “Whatever he says to you, do it.” 6 Now there were six water pots of stone set there after the Jews’ way of purifying, containing two or three metretes apiece. 7 Jesus said to them, “Fill the water pots with water.” So they filled them up to the brim. 8 He said to them, “Now draw some out, and take it to the ruler of the feast.” So they took it. 9 When the ruler of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and didn’t know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the ruler of the feast called the bridegroom 10 and said to him, “Everyone serves the good wine first, and when the guests have drunk freely, then that which is worse. You have kept the good wine until now!”

Matthew 13: 36~43
36 Then Jesus sent the multitudes away, and went into the house. His disciples came to him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the darnel weeds of the field.” 37 He answered them, “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man,

And there are those that say God is not a God of abundance and will not give an abundance of things to anyone....

Religion is just makes us all so stupid sometimes.
