Act 15: 28-29
28 For it seemed best to the Holy Spirit and to us not to place any greater burden on you than these necessary rules: 29 that you abstain from meat that has been sacrificed to idols and from blood and from what has been strangled and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from doing these things, you will do well. Farewell.

Sooo, is this the conclusion of the matter?
I can see this one too...

Col 2:16 . Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath [days]:
Col 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body [is] of Christ.

Okay, maybe a should've said he was one of the most God-fearing businessmen ever. I read an incredible article about Guinness and his life as a testimony to Christ. It was in a faith magazine called "Relevant". Very powerful.

When Jesus had the last supper, I don't think they had some crackers and a tiny cup of wine. I think they actually are a meal like a meal.

If you do not want to drink alcohol, do not drink it.
That's your business.
The is no Scripture that forbids it.
Jesus Himself produced and consumed it.
Some of us choose to consume it responsibly and within the law.
That's our business.
Drinking a beer right now and getting ready to watch Denver at Indy.
Okay, cracking a cold one and sitting down to watch Green Bay at Minnesota!
Should be a gimme.

[SUP]Drink till you are drunk

John 7

37 [/SUP]In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

[SUP]38 [/SUP]He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
[SUP]39 [/SUP](But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
[SUP]40 [/SUP]Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.

Drinking is not a sin. Getting drunk is.
