Matthew 20:22) But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able. 23 .) And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father. 24 .) And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren. 25 .) But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. 26 .) But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 27 .) And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: 28 .) Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

It is both. We could be physically surrounded by many, yet our heart could be in solitude only with the Lord. We could be all alone, physically but with many carnal thoughts, that never bring us close to the heart of G d. We need to have solitude to listen, be refined, and purified, but it is nothing if it is not overflowing and given away to another. I say both.

Some good thoughts, however you miss the point of the question......

Are we called to "A LIFE OF SOLITUDE?" A life void of all interaction with others?

Are we called to "A LIFE OF SERVITUDE?" A life dedicated to serving God, and to serving man?

To which are we called?

Thanks
To your more-precise question, allow me to give a more-precise answer.

A life devoid of all interaction with others, a life of solitude becomes a spiritual failure. Not only does such monastic life fail to communicate Christ to our neighbors, it also fails to remove one from temptation. Sin is a matter of the heart and the monk takes his heart with him to the monastery. The life of solitude,as you describe it, fails in both practical service (if the monk produces something that others value, he is interacting with others) and in personal holiness.

Cobus is in solitude, becasue he is the only one here that truly believe God on these verses....
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning.
And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man,
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

Oh and some many more.... The Christians here on CC only believe what they want, not ALL God said... They believe strong enough to call Christ their saviouor, and to justify their sin. But they do not believe strong enough to be saved by the grace.... I thnk they are the ones that need God to show more grace than He had. So they can continue to sin....GOD FORBID, does not count for them.

Here is my dilemma I know the Truth, teach the truth and serve them with the truth, Yet I am the wrong one here. Sin is in the past for me, there is no sin in the present and no sin in the future, yet I am in the wrong. Sinners calling the Saint of God wrong... WOW!

Now imagine being the only Saint of God here and trying to serve them with the WORD to also be made free. Do you see the solitude and servitude in me? God's Word once again being rejected by the World. CC is a church of the WORLD... it happens in ALL the churches of the WORLD.. Exactly like Paul, Jesus and all Truth preachers EVER experienced... REJECTION by the WORLD... All sinners belong to the WORLD.... God's church and children is HOLY PEOPLE, not sinners.

Yet we are unable to judge what benefit their prayers have had to mankind.

Oh if they were the righteous of God I guess their effectual fervent prayers would availeth much.... (So we would know how much their prayers did for society. God's appointed prayer wooriers were righteous and they did pray very effectual. Look at the prayer of Jesus in John 17... it STILL availeth much. just how much is a shame you do not EXPERIENCE even with a Truth teacher you can ask. Whatr a shame.

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Imagine God does for you what Jesus asked Him to do in John 17, then your prayers will ALL be answered with a YES and of IMMEDIATE effect.... Only for one reason, GOD DOES NOT BACK DOWN FROM HIS WORD... HE DOES WHAT HE SAYS...
