Why not? He was the one blinded on the road to Damascus.
Do we go with paul exclusively or the Lord. He might have said that due to his culture at the time.

You did not mention Paul in your OP. Did you mean to?

Well, if you don't want to go with Paul on it, I reckon if your unbelieving spouse leaves, you're stuck alone until you die.

But do you have to go with Paul on that. Anyway, I'm not in that position. Yet. God forbid I do, this is for those who are stuck with Pauls "I" rather than what our Lord says.

Why would he say I anyway, theres only one I in bible (I am who I am)

Marriage has become a status symbol today for high end finance, and family marketing.

Me and my wife are not having children.

Really? I dont know how where you live, but in the EU the singlesness is much more profitable and not being married is more and more common.

In this country I can't help think that family is being rubbed in my face.

Anyway, my Eve is away mostly focused on her career. I just left to another state, we talk every morning and night. But she's not tied down to serve almighty toast, we'll catch up soon enough.

That's the thing about God, he's the sustainer of this relationship.
