As followers of Jesus Christ, we often get focused on the differences between our beliefs. I want to start a thread that focuses on similarities. Its a challenge right? Challenges are good. So when you write on this thread only write what you have found in common with someone else on this site.

I want to start by saying:

I love Just-me and Just-us-2. Like me, they both strive to improve their relationship with God.
I have recently been talking with Simona. Her and I both have a story we are willing to share about how we came to believe in Jesus.
I have found that many people on Christianchat love to study the bible...just like me.
I can't think of a single person I have met on here that does not believe that Jesus lives. Isn't that great?

What I have in common with others is that I have found many people on this forum like to write about things they disagree with,... just like me.
On a more serious note, everyone seems to like a kind word or gesture, or a display of Christ's love, toward a fellow brother or sister.
Also, everyone likes to hear you admit you were wrong, when it is clear that you were.
Everyone hate an arrogant, proud, or contemptuous person, just like God.

I think even with the differences it causes a similarity....to dig further into God's Word, pray a little more, and take a little more thought before hastily pressing the 'post' button.

As Christians in Christ and God's Word. We have the same faith. To use the vine teaching, we are like branches, but we are all part of the vine (John 15:1-8,Romans 11:16-24 ). We cant be useful to God without taking part in Christ. I see a lot of people here genuinely seeking God, and want to learn God's words, they take time out of their day and read the Bible, and enjoy reading the Bible. When there are enough of us who do this on a regular basis, we'll be able to know what God says, and be able to act more like a Christian should., lifting each other up, being patient with everyone, and able to be on the same page in with what is written in God's Word.

AMEN!

John 14:6) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
7 .) If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
8 .) Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9 .) Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
10 .) Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
11 .) Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
