Oh, OK, we have several threads ongoing about futurism and preterism re: Mark 13 and Matt. 24. Personally I am of the preterist position.

When Daniel was given Yahweh's, God's, Words to write down. Daniel admitted he did not understand the words of the prophecy, and the angel instructed him to write down the words and put them in a book. The understanding is for a generation to come.

I know of no generation that has fully explained the meaning of the words of the book written down so that all generations since could benefit from that generations implicit knowledge of the interpretation, therefore I am among those who await the understanding and the fulfillment.

No amount of words on words will convince me this is understood by some today when the angel made it clear that generation would understand. No generation has passed this understanding down to its future generations, nor is it further explained in the future history of God's people in the later writing of the Word. Any argument purporting it has passed is very weak in my humble esteem. This is not a debate, this is simply the position I assume. Thank you. God bless you and hold you close, amen.
