Ok, if you are referring to "waiting" as in a waiter in a restaurant.........then........ok........
But the Scripture in the OP is very misleading then.........for it refers to "waiting" as a "time-thingy" and not a "service."

Oh, God is "waiting" on us just as the Scripture says..........in vs. 9) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
