I love this stuff too but I'm just wondering about the legalities of sharing someone else's published work on forum.

I believe it should fall under fair use because just fragments are posted, not whole or complete work, and also for the purpose of learning...
I meant to only post a few more, thats it.

A small break from the Little Prince, because I've ran into this beautiful story... it is a Czech fairytale:

The story begins with a king who had three daughters, each of whom were to seek suitors. The two oldest daughters found wealthy and powerful men who could show their wealth to the king. The youngest, however, had met and fallen in love with a young man in secret, who found her one day crying that she needed a man to show her father. When she explained, he said that she was not to worry, that he would appear before her father and show his wealth, she was very relieved.

On the fateful day, the two older girls presented their suitors and the king was very pleased. When he began to question his younger daughter, he was very upset to learn that she did not even know his name or where he came from. Suddenly he appeared, dressed well and presented himself to the king. When asked who he was, he said he was the Prince of Salt and he would inherit his father's kingdom of salt. When the father heard this, he grew very angry and yelled that salt was worthless and his daughter could not marry him. At that instant, the prince's father appeared and laid a curse on the kingdom because the king did not know the value of salt. From henceforth, there would be no salt in the land and every bit of salt would turn to gold. The prince would never be allowed to see the daughter of someone who did not value salt. In a whirl they both disappeared.

At first the king thought nothing of the curse, but slowly the fields withered without salt, the people grew ill and left the kingdom in droves. The food had no flavor, and illness spread. In vain they tried to import salt from a neighboring kingdom, but the minute the wagons of salt crossed the border, the salt would turn into gold, which was now worthless. The wealth of the king's sons-in-law was to no avail.

Meanwhile, the youngest daughter was stricken with grief at the loss of her beloved. She vowed to try and find him. She left the castle and began her wanderings, searching everywhere for the kingdom of salt. After many trials, she finally found a deep cave and discovered the location of the kingdom of salt. The King of Salt was still very angry and at first refused to see her. Finally, when she begged enough, he told her that his son had become a pillar of salt. And sure enough, in the cave there she saw a life-sized pillar of salt. At first horrified, she finally succeeded in finding out that only the dew drops of all the flowers in the kingdom, which were in fact the tears of all the people who had suffered from her father's outburst and discounting of salt, had to be collected and brought back to the cave and poured over the pillar of salt to rescue the prince.

So the daughter went out and tirelessly collected the drops in a pitcher, working until she could not stay awake, falling asleep in the fields, and again and again persevering, until finally she collected all the drops in her pitcher and sneaked inside the cave. The king tried to stop her, but she was finally able to pour the pitcher over the pillar of salt and her loved one emerged. Finally, the king was convinced of her devotion to his son and salt, and he lifted the curse.

When they both returned to the castle with some salt, they found her father and courtiers all ailing. When she handed her father the salt, he told her he had been mistaken, that "salt was more precious than gold," and with that, he embraced his daughter and future son-in-law and they all lived happily ever after.

Have you ever had a trial when you could not speak about it and tell others what was going on until your trial was finished because they would not understand and hinder you and add to your troubles, or misunderstand and judge you?
I know someone in one such trial and if there is more of you out there, praying this story will be a comfort for you.

A girl I was infatuated with gave me my copy of The Little Prince way back in the mid '60's. I've treasured it ever since.

A*fairy*tale, but something that when done in Spiritual Action, as the Holy Spirit would lead, us to do as soldiers against the kingdom of darkness, taking the Action, with Faith, it will become a fatal lethal weapon of destruction to the kingdom of darkness. Queen Ester had her vows in marrying someone outside her faith, and took a chance of winning his heart, to save her people. THere is*STRENGTH*in beauty, which is not the clothes we wear, for she took off all her beautiful attire, as a Queen, and put sack cloth on and layed on the dirt of the ground, and*prayed*and fasted, for her people, and for the heart of her husband. REal beauty, is from God, and along comes with it STREngth. Ty for posting.* a9a6c16e2d88553d59afacc3d06bda02.jpg

*Ty, spiritual battles they belong to the Lord. He fights for us, which is a REal scripture. Hatred stirs the soul deeply, and satan makes his captives move according to his rules, as we are subject to the HOly Spirit, so are those who are subject to listen to the spirit's of evil. There is no power greater than that of our LOrd God Yahweh, and SAvior the LORd Jesus Christ, when things are done, as the HOly Spirit leads, in Action and FAith, it will become a fatal lethal combination to the kingdom of evil, and it's darkness. It is a fight of the supernatural, that only we as believers see into this, darkness, as we are lead by the light of that lamp, which is the HOly Spirit of Yeshua. Those who do not adhere to his words, do not see the light, for the word says, they are in utter darkness, and don't see where they are going, there is something that is going to meet them, just as Paul was made blind, he repented though, the Power of the LOrd, is quicker and sharper, than any two edged sword, for we fight not against Flesh, and Blood. It is written, WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS, FOR JESUS HAS WON THE FIGHT, IN HIs HOly Name, every demon spirit will bow to his name, and be dismantled, by his word, and his Authority LUke 10:19. WEre not alone, the bible which is the Word became flesh, and is living, says "There are more with us, that you don't see, unseen, than there are with you, that are seen." He has conquered, and Won.
Jesus the Anointed One. Son of God. Yeshua Hamasheach.

My Brother was a Pilot

My brother was a pilot,
He got a ticket one day,
He packed his things in a suitcase
And southward took his way.

My brother is a conqueror,
Our people is short of space
And to gain more territory is
The ancient dream of our race.

The space that my brother conquered
Lies in the Guadarrama massif;
It's long a meter and eighty
and deep a meter and fifty.

I feel like I would've understood the Little Prince story more as a child.

I had thus learned a second fact of great importance: this was that the planet the little prince came from was scarcely any larger than a house!
But that did not really surprise me much. I knew very well that in addition to the great planets--such as the Earth, Jupiter, Mars, Venus--to which we have given names, there are also hundreds of others, some of which are so small that one has a hard time seeing them through the telescope. When an astronomer discovers one of these he does not give it a name, but only a number. He might call it, for example, "Asteroid 325."
I have serious reason to believe that the planet from which the little prince came is the asteroid known as B-612.
This asteroid has only once been seen through the telescope. That was by a Turkish astronomer, in 1909.

On making his discovery, the astronomer had presented it to the International Astronomical Congress, in a great demonstration. But he was in Turkish costume, and so nobody would believe what he said.
Grown-ups are like that . . .
Fortunately, however, for the reputation of Asteroid B-612, a Turkish dictator made a law that his subjects, under pain of death, should change to European costume. So in 1920 the astronomer gave his demonstration all over again, dressed with impressive style and elegance. And this time everybody accepted his report.

If I have told you these details about the asteroid, and made a note of its number for you, it is on account of the grown-ups and their ways. When you tell them that you have made a new friend, they never ask you any questions about essential matters. They never say to you, "What does his voice sound like? What games does he love best? Does he collect butterflies?" Instead, they demand: "How old is he? How many brothers has he? How much does he weigh? How much money does his father make?" Only from these figures do they think they have learned anything about him.

I have been thinking of this turkish astronomer the past weeks, and remember there was a post on here. The Littl Prince is a good teen read also, if the young lady who asked hasnt found it. (ssorry, i cannot recall name)
