In order to get a real understanding of my blog please watch this youtube clip first and then read it.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=LU8DDYz68kM

Psalm 27:1-3
1. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2. When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
3. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

How many of you felt just like that young Calf and his family? Walking on their journey of Faith in God. When suddenly unseen enemies rise up and attack you. Fear tries to fill you because of the enemy attacking from all sides. A battle is going on, you feel helpless in the tug of war against you in your life. As did the Calf between the Lions and the Crocodiles. You may even feel deserted by family and friends.

1 Peter 5:8-9
8. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9. Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

And you may ask why did the Army (The Herd) run even though they outnumbered the enemy? And why do we let fear cause us to run even though Jesus said in,
Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Let this Scriptures stir your hearts people even as the Army (The Herd) was stirred to come back and fight for the Calf! For they came in unity and one purpose to rescue the Calf and to see the enemy chased away and defeated but let us not be as it was in this scripture where God saw that there was no intercessor in Prayer.

Isaiah 59:14-19
14. And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.
15. Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.
16. And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.
17. For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak.
18. According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompense to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompense.
19. So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

When you watch this video you keep hearing them say that they have come "to late" for the calf, Its to late! To late! They all thought that the Calf was dead but now let us unite in Prayer and in intersession for our brothers and sisters in Christ. Even those who are held captive by satan. Don't give up and feel like its to late for someone that has gone astray from God or if it looks like sickness is going to take them away. Have Faith and unite with others who will agree with you in Prayer.

In closing when you watch the end of the video you will see the Herd defeating the Lions and this scripture stood out above them all for me.

Psalm 91:13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

Amen

I am confused here. David, as we know, was persued by king Saul who wanted to kill him. So David was seeking God's protection from his persuers in Ps 27. We see it in V 3,6,11, 12. Nowhere in his psalms David mentioned a supernatural force called satan persuing him.

How do we make such connection?

So jerrywlo, if you could help people in your own church you would rather let them die? That is the message here. If you can help others by praying, give love you help them. This is not prosperity gospel what Angel_Armies is talking about. And yes, they were killed for the glory of God.
And yes, jerrywlo... human can be an enemy of us, but we also have our own old man and satan who is trying to take us away from God. And yes, they do everything. Btw. Do you know Job... There it was very clear.
God is my help in all situations. For God is the victory!

Yes, I know Job. Who was that satan there? Was he that "our old man", as you point it so nicely, or a supernatural? Were the sons of God the earthly man like you and me? Yes, I think so. If you think othervise then refer to Ps 82 among other verses.

They probably had controversy so they presented themselves before the Lord. Was it in heaven or on earth. Yes, it was on earth as they were commanded to do Deu 19:17 Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the LORD, before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days;

Also they couldn't have seen God phisically: Exo 33:20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.

Job 2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan (an oponent) came also among them to present himself before the LORD.

He presented himself the way the man did for he was one of them, "our old man". Otherwise Satan was apparently cursed by God in Ge 3. So how did he become a friend with God "again"?

And who really aflicted Job? What does Job is supposed to teach us?
Job 1:21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.

Do we believe Job or do we know it better?

May peace of God be with you all

I do not really understand all of your argumentation. Are you suggesting there is not such thing as supernatural? A different place? A heaven or a hell? I do not understand what the point is that you are trying to make.
This because it feels like you are not really happy with things said in this topic. Can you point what part you find hard or strange?

Hi again.
Let us come to our senses. Don't let the world to confuse us. Read the Bible. Get to know the O.T. God has presented Himself to us there . All things come from God, good or bad, good as blessings, bad as punishment or correction.

Yet we rebel against God. We pretend to folow Him but we aknowledge other forces, pagan gods, in control of the world. We fail to respond to God's correction for we think that we are opressed by anothe force. Please read what follows to see what I mean:

Heb 12:5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
Heb 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
Heb 12:7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
Heb 12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
Heb 12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
Heb 12:10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
Heb 12:11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
Heb 12:12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
Heb 12:13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
Heb 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Heb 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
Heb 12:16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
Heb 12:17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
Heb 12:18 For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,
Heb 12:19 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:
Heb 12:20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:
Heb 12:21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)
Heb 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

Can you spot Satan at work here? I can't.

You may say: Satan makes us to believe a lie. I don't think so:
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

May peace of God be with you all

This argument will make no sense to those who think they know God. They will get upset when presented with biblical verses. They don't want to hear what God really says as prophecised:

2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2Ti 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Let us follow them for they are in majority.

carpetmanswife, could you, please, offer your explanation of Heb 12:5-22 and 2Th 2:11? Your comment, with due respect, makes no sense to me. Don't you accept that God "chastises" us, that He sends "strong delusion" to the members of the "little horn" from Da 7:8? If you agree than what would you consider God's chastising be? What is the strong delusion of God?

Well jerrywlo, we do not understand the point that you are making. So that is the reason why she said that. She does not say that she wish to close her ears for the Word of God.
And it still dont get your point about satan? What are you trying to tell us. Next reply i hope some clear statements will appear.
Because the last part is like you want to say that God is against us? And not that satan is against us. Or is the point you try to make that satan does not exist? Or that satan comes from God like satan is doing good?
Well in that case read the Bible. Jesus talking to Peter that satan should go away. And Judas who is possesed at some point when he is going to betray Jesus. Adam and Eve fell into sin when satan temted them. And Paul says we are fighting against goverments, powers, etc.

And for now... Make a new topic if you have something to discuss about your private opinions or so. Because this topic is not about what you are talking about. In forum language: offtopic.
