No, I couldnt go there, or even agree in that one, you are on your own in that fantasy.

I wonder if you repented of this delusion of John Stamos if you could walk?

Matthew 6:14 .) For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 .) But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Colossians 3:13 .) Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

Ephesians 4:29 .) Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30 .) And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31 .) Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32 .) And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

2nd Corinthians 2:5 .) But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all.
6 .) Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.
7 .) So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.
8 .) Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him.
9 .) For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.
10 .) To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;

Matthew 5:23 .) Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
24 .) Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

Luke 6:37 .) Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

John 20:23
Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

But sadly some find this hard to believe.

How many of us could..................???

Luke 7:59 .) And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
60 .) And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Never said we did.............. :)

"forgive us our trespasses as we FORGIVE those who trespass against us.............."

Matthew 18:21 .) Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
22 .) Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
Correction: We DO have the authority in the power and anointing of Jesus Christ to "absolve" people from sins committed against us personally.

It reads in Luke 23:34 as Jesus was dying on the Cross at Calvary, that the Lord prayed aloud, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."

And in Acts 7:59, 60 it reads: They went on stoning Stephen as he called on the Lord and said, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!"
Then falling on his knees, he cried out with a loud voice, "Lord, do not hold this sin against them!" Having said this, he fell asleep.

Jesus and Stephen both prayed that Father God would not hold the charge of murder against the people who were in the process of taking their lives! Why would they each ask for forgiveness for their killers if they didn't believe God would honor their prayers? Of course God honored their prayers!

Jesus teaches us to pray: "Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us."

Just as the Lord has forgiven us and made our sins against Him as far as the east is from the west, we have the freedom and the authority in Jesus to forgive the sins of anyone who has purposely hurt us.

Now before someone goes off the deep end with that truth, let me make it clear that I don't believe God wants us to remain in an abusive situation and foolishly try to accomplish some great feat in our own strength. If God offers a way of escape, TAKE IT! There were certainly times when men & women of God and Jesus Himself escaped the hand of the enemy because it was not time for them to die. But we can still pray for our enemy and ask God to open their eyes and give them spiritual life. What an amazing privilege to be able to love like Christ and forgive sins committed against us! ♥
