A cult is just a fringe religious group.
What people DON'T know is that many of the major religions of the world could at one time be considered a cult by modern definitions. Christianity as a whole, Islam, Buddhism, Wicca (kind of), Mormonism, Voodoo, Lutherans, Quakers (me
), ALL Protestant groups at one point or another.
As long as its a religion whose beliefs come out of another's, it can be considered a cult. Basically only tribal reliigons, Shintoism, Judaism, Zoroastrianism, Hinduism, all of the pagan religions (Greek, Eyptian, etc) and TECHINCALLY Scientology can't be a cult, b/c there is no religion it has come out of.
So be careful when you use the word cult to bash someone.

He likes to say cult and leave it at that without any proof. He just makes false accusations and thinks it's okay to do that. Go figure.
