I'm sorry what?? Is this a serious question? I'm a 36 year old man and I rock out in my car....in my office chair...in my shower...
What does it have anything to do with a persons spiritual condition?

I think he has a bad taste in music. Other than that it's impossible for me to judge (which is the right word for what you're asking) his spiritual condition.
But as stated above, is this a serious question? Some guy in his car singing along to music and you think this is relevant spiritually how? People do this all the time. I do it (to better music) i see people in their cars doing it. I never presume i can know their spiritual status.

Absolutely nothing. It's a fun video and I thought it would give a nice reprieve from the normal posts. That's all. I hope you have as much fun on the job as this guy does.

Yaaay! That was it's purpose. It was just something different for the bible forum...something fun. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

By the way, concerning my thread "Do not be deceived!!!", I wanted to remind all of us, the mature Christians and newly converted Christians, of the simplicity of our salvation. That's all.

Yes, that is just the beginning of our walk with the Lord. Yours and others' posts were filled with Truth. I was just hoping we all could be renewed in the simplicity of our salvation and hoped the thread wouldn't go toward the "backslide/oasis" debate. I guess it's been such an ongoing topic that's what we grab hold of.

In hindsight "Do not be deceived!!!" was worded to strongly... wrongly actually, for the concern I had. My concern was for the newly converted who visit the site being confused by the "tons and tons" of scripture posted. (Some posters seem to love to show us their depth of knowledge of theology, regardless if anyone is listening.) I can see the newly converted being overwhelmed by it. Titling the thread "Do not be confused oh ye babes in Christ!!!" (snicker) may have been better.

Anyway, I enjoy your posts, and I trust God with who and who doesn't get into heaven.

Your brother always,
Joseph

No, not a serious question. I knew it wasn't really a Bible Discussion Forum topic but thought the video was funny and would be enjoyed. So I masked it as a relevant discussion topic.:p

Peace to you Joseph,

Yes the Lord knows them that are His and do His will, we should leave that to him and make our own calling and election sure.

And I wasnt too sure why you had started the thread, but I took a peek over there and I couldnt help the grin that come across my face, I called my husband out to watch, and we laughed, it was just too funny.

Its silly, but its cute too because how many guys (even women) do similar (when no ones watching) but this guy just did that so well, he just had a way (even a little goofy way) about him that was funny.

And I dont often involve myself with the OSAS (back and forth talking) and I'm beginning to wish there was a separate forum for those debates between either of the two camps who love to argue between those angles and leave the rest of us alone who dont care to have it intrude into every conversation.

I would just love to post the scriptures and the connections I find in the same (as I have always done) long before I even knew there was a OSAS doctrine. To be perfectly I dont even know who came up with the words, or termonology or concept (or even when) and Im not asking, as if cared to know, I have just found the conversations unfruitful. And it was only a few years ago that I had to ask what the abreviations OSAS actually stood for when I was asked if I believed in it. And dumb me, was like, well, what verse is that? So I am (for the most part) oblivious to many of the doctrines out there under whichever particular banner of words/concepts invented/drawn up by men. And who is the newest devil to whichever group holds to whatever pet doctrine there might be.

Im just fine with being the blind moron in these things. My ignorance must be the reason for my bliss. But I will typically blow off these word inventions others throw at me, which words and angles I really want to avoid taking up because I have always distrusted those as much as I have a distrust for men in general.

But Im all for...

1 Peter 4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

And I think its great when christians labor in word and doctrine share their labors and bless us with the time they have invested in the word, and do show the depth of their knowledge. So I probably differ there, because I believe its about the only thing we can do on an online forum (in word only) that works perfectly. You can benefit from anothers labor in the word and be better equipped by the same, but the opposite can true if you cant discern your right from your left (so depending who it is). Thats the great thing about the ignore button and scroll bar. Its not like your stuck in a bad lecture you cannot leave without drawing attention to yourself, you can just leave (no one cares) stay only if you get something out of it.

But even elders that labor in word and in doctrine are worthy of double honor, and there is labor involved in it, and so
I appreciate thorough workmanship. How under appreciated these are, but at the same time, I dont think you care for thanks, because there is nothing better then spending time in the word with the Lords guidance, its rewarding in itself,

Nothing worse then a forum full of unskilful quacks who do nothing more then post their own words for the most part and actually find that more fulfilling then knowledge of God, what a drag right?

You have a good evening Jospeh, our God richly bless you in Christ Jesus the Lord

Peace to you Joseph,

Yes the Lord knows them that are His and do His will, we should leave that to him and make our own calling and election sure.

I appreciate the time and effort you put into this post. It's heartfelt and pure in purpose. Thank you for 1 Peter 4:11, I needed reminding of that. Thank you.

I feel as you do about all that you covered.

Concerning the video my wife and I got a kick out of it too. We're heading out for the day and will catch you later, Lord willing.

Thanks again, ISeeYou, my sister and friend, for the post.

God bless you and your family. I know he is.
Joseph

As a friendly suggestion i would advise against such an approach. All it will do is serve to make you look bad to most people, who will think you're serious.
And i've seen a lot of attempts to lighten this section up and i've never seen one work. Too many here have sticks strongly wedged in places i'd rather not attempt to remove them from. =O

The man is just having fun, as he is probably real shy.
People who have a major shyness have a tendency to dance and sing when nobody is paying attention. I know some people who would be over righteous and say that he is possessed, but there is nothing what so ever to say rather he is or even to say if he is saved or not. The man is just enjoying himself in a time of privacy, or per say.......
