You have to do everything totally right and never make a mistake - then you can go to heaven. And you can also send me $183 per month to "prove your acts of faith" because we know that faith without works is dead and you will go to heaven.

Then there is also the truth that we can believe in the gospel of the grace of Christ and believe in what Christ has already done for us and totally rest on His work of salvation and redemption alone by grace through faith - Eph. 2:8-9.

Ephesians 1:13 (NASB)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvationhaving also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise,

Repent-- happens at being given eternal life.. people do turn from their sins to ask for forgiveness at salvation.. but it isn't a work or ongoing action.. it's a 'change of mind, heart'.. worked by the Holy Spirit and not the person under their own effort. There will be fruit from this conversion.. that is the result of the having the Holy Spirit in the person's soul. This doesn't mean though, they will then live continuously faithful to Christ.. some people do after conversion.. some falter. So the eternal salvation in the first place isn't to do with this ongoing faithfulness.. but Jesus' payment for their sins and indwelling through the Holy Spirit.
I never said it was a "work"but unfortunately many people believe they do not need to acknowledge & ask for forgiveness for their sins. There are people who actually believe asking for forgiveness is a one time thing. I hope those people are prepared to answer the Lord on judgement day concerning that.

I have asked someone, if you met Jesus after you had died, why should I let you into heaven,
what would be your answer?

Many have no reply or because I was a good person, I went to church etc.

I then explain, because Lord Jesus you bled and died for my sin and I have faith in you for the
forgiveness of sins. I have walked with you these many years and we have shared many
adventures together and now Lord I am ready to be with you.

If you know this man and his word you will know His response.

Eternal salvation isn't about acts. It's about faith
If one is truly in faith, the "fruit" produced is good works.

Nobody is saying good works saves you, but good works is the result of being IN CHRIST and Christ being IN YOU.

Jesus specifically said in John 15 that those IN HIM that do not bare fruit... the Father takes them away which simply means He turns them over to a reprobate mind which is a direct reference to how the Kingdom of God works... what you sow is what you reap.

The modern so-called "grace message" does away with the foundation of God's Kingdom which is seedtime and harvest... therefore, it is false teaching and is a trick of the devil. If one accepts the entire Word of God, one would not be ignorant of satan's devices.

ANYTIME a preachers starts claiming parts of the New Testament do not ally to us today... it is a mark of a false teacher.

In Luke 16:16, Jesus specifically tells us that "the law and the prophets were until John. From that time the Good News of the Kingdom of God is preached" which means from John the Baptist forward, the teachings of Jesus Christ are applicable to us today... unlike what some so-called grace teachers claim when they say Jesus taught the law which an erroneous claim.

EPH. 2-8-9-10
For by grace are ye saved through Faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained
that we should walk in them.

What does it take to get into heaven? 8i know Jesus said believe and me and repent and you shall be saved, but what does it mean to repent? Do we have to completely stop sinning? I thought that was impossible because humans are naturally wicked
Repent and believe. To believe in Jesus IS to repent of your sin of unbelief.

Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly:
and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers,
and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth
with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

-

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that
overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life,
and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Repent and believe. To believe in Jesus IS to repent of your sin of unbelief.
When John the baptist preached, there was no Messiah to have unbelief in, and repentance
was very much just about sin, and living a life worthy of repentance.

The phrase "to repent of your sin of unbelief" is just heresy.
It goes hand in hand with the belief all sin has been forgiven, which is just universalism.

But then you and G7 have been preaching this for over a year now.

We all have to receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness that has been made available because of the Lord Jesus Christ's work on the cross and resurrection. We receive when we believe the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ being preached.

Ephesians 1:13 (NASB)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvationhaving also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise,

There is a universal aspect in what Christ has done as He as the Lamb of God took away the sin of the world but people must believe it in order to participate in what He has done for them.

Romans 5:17 (NASB)
[SUP]17 [/SUP] For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

As the true gospel being preached by both Peter and Paul say - these are the word for word accounts of the real gospel being preached and the message is the same - believe that they have the forgiveness of sins through His Name.

I never thought of Peter and Paul preaching heresy but I am pretty sure unbelief is a sin - the unbelieving are one of the first ones to be thrown in the lake of fire - but we hear all kinds of things around here it seems and in the world too.

Here is Peter speaking to the Gentiles:

Acts 10:43 (NASB)
[SUP]43 [/SUP] "Of Him all the prophets bear witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins."

Here is Paul speaking to the Jews:

Acts 13:38-39 (NASB)
[SUP]38 [/SUP] "Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through Him forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you,

[SUP]39 [/SUP] and through Him everyone who believes is freed from all things, from which you could not be freed through the Law of Moses.

Repentance is turning away from sin and walking in righteousness.
To teach otherwise is heresy.

Unless one repents of sin, there is no hope for ones soul.
We get forgiveness through Christ as the sacrifice for sins, but we have to
desire such forgiveness through repentance before it will be applied.

What you are reading for G7 and FNC is a different gospel.

Read Ezek 18:21 for a clear idea of repentance
Malachi 2:17 lays our the gospel they are preaching.
