I've been at this Christianity thing most of my life. Don't you see that the videos being offered are over 20 years old?
as I already stated, people change. Joyce has changed what she teaches.
It is extremely unfair and biased of bluto or anyone to present videos that are that old. I posted one from her current teaching and it says the opposite of WOF. I happened to listen to her last night and she is teaching AGAINST name it and claim it
it really irks me when people post such negative things without checking the facts or saying they could not find anything

I checked rosemary and I could not find any evidence that she left or rennounced wof. I found this site from 2014. Is Joyce Meyer Word of Faith? And here is a more recent one from 2017. Search Results for “joyce meyer” – Pulpit & Pen

as I said, have you not changed over the years? Meyer has changed and does not teach WOF
it is very biased and untruthful to continue to say she does and then post videos from 20 years ago

First of all a person should I believe search out whose faith is involved in the discourse ?That of God as the faith of Christ or those of men after the imaginations of their own hearts spiritually dead in their trespasses and sin no light of God word to illumine the path
I would offer the word of faith(WOF) is form of blasphemy. Which is attributing the work of Christ to men and even accrediting it to ones self as a god
Seeing God calls us gods in a sense because we are made in his likeness. They refuse the hear and do the commandment of God It lovenly commands us not to have the faith of Christ which comes from hearing God in respect to persons or men
I think one of the problems is men to not hear it as a loving commandment and violate the warning
Jam 2:1 My brethren, have not the "faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory", with respect of persons.
Its summary found in verse 7
Jam 2:7 Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called? In doing so violate the first commandment to have no other gods before our living Faithfull Creator and again that includes one self.
Its a reminder of the first commandment
Exo 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
The results of the man with the bigger barns that did practice WOF.

the site bluto has referred to, pulpit and pen, does not believe women should teach or preach so what else could we expect?
further, they do not believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit so they are cutting out of the Bible what they do not agree with
Joyce does NOT teach physical healing is to be claimed, or all are healed and she does not teach a prosperity gospel. anyone that says she does is either looking at very outdated material or they are simply lying and many men will not allow women to even pray in church so we have to be careful we are not siding with those types of believers

I also noticed it stated that Hillsong was featuring the so called naked cowboy from NY. This again is another false claim. There are multiple problems with Hillsong but some people have said things that are not true. The only truth is their own truth.

- There is only one “baptism” in the Holy Spirit, accomplished at salvation, whereby the believer is identified with Christ and is permanently and completely indwelt by His Spirit. There is no second act of grace or special anointing for releasing gifts or revelation. He fills and controls believers who daily are surrendered to Him

reformed Baptist

this, is a lesson painful to learn. I have learned it also. I was not thinking I needed to be humble when I admitted my deception, I was in deep pain and just wanted OUT
however, the self righteous most certainly do need to humble themselves
I am positive that God is constantly probing the hearts and minds and will put things in our paths to indicate to us our need of our Savior and that we are going down a path we should not walk on
show me the confused Christian, or the one who is always talking about what God is going to do but nothing ever happens, and I will show you someone who needs to get out of what it is they are into
thing is, it seems to be easy to push those little urgings away, or reason with our minds and say, oh I can't be deceived...I have the Holy Spirit
we need to get on our knees and determine how it is God will speak to us and understand, that the best tool we have already in our toolbox, is a good working knowledge of His word
get to know what is true and the lies or what does not sound right, will pop out at you
far too many think that being led by the Holy Spirit is some kind of 'magical mystery tour'. it isn't

I applaud her for that,as I also am not wof,but I got enough sense to know the scripture is true and wof quoting it does not mar God or the bible,just their own integrity.

This was one area where I was very indoctrinated that women could not teach.
It took a whole year of reading and researching both sides til the scriptures came together via the Holy Spirit, and I finally understood that yes woman can teach and Paul was not saying otherwise.
Your point is true the falseness is not about their gender but about what they teach.

Now, my big issue with all of this is the fact that if a person like meyer, copeland and many others have been teaching heretical and even blasphemous doctrines and they have been called on it should they not publicly announce not only to the church but to others that they have repented and admit they were wrong?
What I'm about to say now would appear to be hard to reconcile with what I just wrote above but bear with me. It says at Philippians 1:18, "What then? Only that in every way, whether in "PRETENSE" or in truth, Chris is proclaimed; and in this I rejoice, yes and I will rejoice."
What this does not mean is that the Apostle Paul is not condoning preaching from false motives. He knew the hearers could be saved when Christ is preached regardless. In other words, false ministerial motives cannot cancel the truth of the gospel as the power of God unto salvation. The bottom line is that we know (from Romans 8:28) that God can work things out for good.
Keep in mind what you said rosemary, " i believe she has helped me greatly in my walk with God...xox..." She has helped you greatly in your walk with Christ where as the Apostle Paul is focused on the gospel to get people saved at Philippians 1:18. And please read Philippians 1:12-17 for context. Does any of this make sense to you?
