Regarding the thousand years, there is nothing in the context that would lead the reader to interpret it as anything other than a literal thousand years. The fact that the thousand years is repeated consistently six times would support a literal thousand years. The thousand years is the same time that Jesus will be ruling and the same time in which Satan will be bound.
It would be in error to apply the same meaning of the thousand years to Revelation as having the same meaning as say, Psalm 50:10, as the context should always be taken into consideration first.

My apologies for having to gut a bunch of this thread since the discussion of a user's prior ban got interwoven through a lot of posts.
This site's policy has always been that disciplinary action by this site has (and most likely always will be) be between CC's staff and the individual user. The fact that a certain user was at one time banned for a time frame that expired years ago is most definitely the business of that user and this site's Administration ONLY.
