Who placed the veil there before it was rent?
According to God's instructions and design, the children of Israel placed the vail in the tabernacle and then it was placed in Solomon's Temple

Exodus 26:31 And thou shalt make a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims shall it be made:
Exodus 26:32 And thou shalt hang it upon four pillars of shittim wood overlaid with gold: their hooks shall be of gold, upon the four sockets of silver.
Exodus 26:33 And thou shalt hang up the vail under the taches, that thou mayest bring in thither within the vail the ark of the testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy.
Exodus 26:34 And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place.

2 Chronicles 3:10 And in the most holy house he made two cherubims of image work, and overlaid them with gold.
2 Chronicles 3:11 And the wings of the cherubims were twenty cubits long: one wing of the one cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
2 Chronicles 3:12 And one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was five cubits also, joining to the wing of the other cherub.
2 Chronicles 3:13 The wings of these cherubims spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were inward.
2 Chronicles 3:14 And he made the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought cherubims thereon.

That vail, which was rent from top to bottom when Christ died on the cross (Matthew 27:50-51), showed that the way to God has been fully opened by Christ's blood. It was put up according to God's design and instructions and it was rent by God. There is no instruction in Scripture which states that any man physically put that vail back up.

This is the point that the discussion with you has to end:
I asked: WHAT SIGN/S DID JESUS GAVE IN MATTHEW,MARK AND LUKE AS TO WHEN THE TEMPLE (referring to the second temple) WILL BE DESTROYED?

Yes, it does have to end. You did not specify the second temple. There is no mention. And I have NEVER claimed the second temple would be destroyed. So how was I supposed to assume you meant the second temple. when no one ever mentioned it being destroyed? Where did you get that from?

Matthew 24
Temple Destruction Foretold
1Jesus came out from the temple and was going away when His disciples came up to point out the temple buildings to Him. 2And He said to them, "Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, not one stone here will be left upon another, which will not be torn down."

that wall people flock to and pray to God (supposedly) is a Roman Fortress Wall.

no king but Caesar...even though it's actually the kabbalistic feminine god they pray to.

Is the Church, exclusive for gentiles only?

Paul, Peter, James, John were they not from the tribes of Israel?

Church in Smyrna
Rev 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they areJews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
Church in Philadelphia
Rev 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

The Story is all about them... be thankful that we are grafted.
t t t
NO, but during the "time of the Gentiles" (the Church-age) and Jew who receives Jesus Christ as Messiah and LORD, automatically becomes part of the Bride of Christ, the CHURCH. Hence Zola Levitt, Jews for Jesus who have received HIM as LORD, as well as those who have received Jesus as LORD who are affiliated with any other Messianic Congregation, and well as ALL gentile believers who have received Jesus as LORD are ALL CO-EQUALLY part of the CHURCH, the Bride of Christ. In case you are not familiar with Messianic Congregations, here is one of their Doctrinal Statements of Faith: Association of Messianic Congregations - What We Believe

My personal experience with those Christians who were once Jewish, is they on an average are MUCH MORE FULL OF ZEAL than the average Gentile Christian. If you are dragging your feet about witnessing to someone, and a Jewish Christian is standing behind you, he will climb right over top of you to get the job of witnessing DONE. Yes of all the Jews, Messianic Christian Jews are ONLY A FEW, but God promised them He would always save a remnant out every generation of Jews.

Why do I always emphasize receiving JESUS as LORD, when talking about those who are saved? Because I believe it is a Critical part of Salvation, that is inadvertently overlooked and seldom mentioned by most Christians.

Romans 10:9 (NASB)
[SUP]9 [/SUP] that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

It does NOT say profess and it is NOT a confession unless it is absolutely TRUE about yourself before you say it.

John 1:12-13 (NASB)
[SUP]12 [/SUP] But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,
[SUP]13 [/SUP] who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

Colossians 2:6 (NIV)
[SUP]6 [/SUP] So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him,

What is Ezekiel 40-48? Why do we have the measurements of a temple that has never been built? We have Solomon's temple that was destroyed by the Babylonians. We have Herod's temple from Jesus day that was destroyed by the Romans. But we don't have the Ezekiel temple that has very specific measurements and designations? Why so specific? This isn't just a heavenly temple because the people of Ezekiel's day living in captivity were expecting to return to Jerusalem and be able to build a temple, yet they never built the temple Ezekiel foresaw. Doesn't this point to a 3rd temple?

well, let's compare scriptures:

Ezekiel 40:1-2
“In the twenty-fifth year of our exile, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was taken, on that same day the hand of the LORD was upon me and He brought me there. In the visions of God He brought me into the land of Israel and set me on a very high mountain, and on it to the south there was a structure like a city.”

Revelation 21:10
“And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,”

Ezekiel 40:3
“So He brought me there; and behold, there was a man whose appearance was like the appearance of bronze, with a line of flax and a measuring rod in his hand; and he was standing in the gateway.”

Revelation 21:15
“The one who spoke with me had a gold measuring rod to measure the city, and its gates and its wall.”

Ezekiel 40:5
“And behold, there was a wall on the outside of the temple all around, and in the man’s hand was a measuring rod of six cubits, each of which was a cubit and a handbreadth. So he measured the thickness of the wall, one rod; and the height, one rod.”

Revelation 21:16-17
“The city is laid out as a square, and its length is as great as the width; and he measured the city with the rod, fifteen hundred miles; its length and width and height are equal. And he measured its wall, seventy-two yards, according to human measurements, which are also angelic measurements.”

Ezekiel 48:30-35
“These are the exits of the city: on the north side, 4,500 cubits by measurement, shall be the gates of the city, named for the tribes of Israel, three gates toward the north: the gate of Reuben, one; the gate of Judah, one; the gate of Levi, one. “On the east side, 4,500 cubits, shall be three gates: the gate of Joseph, one; the gate of Benjamin, one; the gate of Dan, one. “On the south side, 4,500 cubits by measurement, shall be three gates: the gate of Simeon, one; the gate of Issachar, one; the gate of Zebulun, one. “On the west side, 4,500 cubits, shall be three gates: the gate of Gad, one; the gate of Asher, one; the gate of Naphtali, one. “The city shall be 18,000 cubits round about; and the name of the city from that day shall be, ‘The LORD is there.’

Revelation 21:16
“The city is laid out as a square, and its length is as great as the width; and he measured the city with the rod, fifteen hundred miles; its length and width and height are equal.”

Ezekiel 44:28
“And it shall be with regard to an inheritance for them, that I am their inheritance; and you shall give them no possession in Israel—I am their possession.

Revelation 20:6
“Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years.”

Ezekiel 48:30-34
“On the west side, 4,500 cubits, shall be three gates: the gate of Gad, one; the gate of Asher, one; the gate of Naphtali, one.”

Revelation 21:12-13
“It had a great and high wall, with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names were written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel. There were three gates on the east and three gates on the north and three gates on the south and three gates on the west.”

Ezekiel 47:1-5
“Then he brought me back to the door of the house; and behold, water was flowing from under the threshold of the house toward the east, for the house faced east. And the water was flowing down from under, from the right side of the house, from south of the altar. He brought me out by way of the north gate and led me around on the outside to the outer gate by way of the gatethat faces east. And behold, water was trickling from the south side.

When the man went out toward the east with a line in his hand, he measured a thousand cubits, and he led me through the water, water reaching the ankles. Again he measured a thousand and led me through the water, water reaching the knees. Again he measured a thousand and led me through the water, water reaching the loins. Again he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not ford, for the water had risen, enough water to swim in, a river that could not be forded.”

Revelation 22:1
“Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb,”

Ezekiel 47:12
And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.

Revelation 22:2
“in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”

Ezekiel 48:35
““The city shall be 18,000 cubits round about; and the name of the city from that day shall be,‘The LORD is there.’”

Revelation 21:22-23
“I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb. ”

...

nothing i've found to date that a bad guy enters Ezekiels Temple and there's an abomination and whatnot.

The parallel of Ezekiel and Rev. does point to similarities, but the measurements are vastly different. There is no temple in Rev., there is the holy new Jerusalem which measures 1500 miles versus the holy Ezekiel city measuring 18000 cubits, or 6 miles. These speak of different things. I think Rev. speaks of the New Jerusalem after the 1000 year millenium, while Ezekiel points more to a millenial temple.

I agree, I don't think the Ezekiel millenial temple is desecrated since the Lord will always be there. Does that mean that there is some temple during the tribulation that is desecrated? The historical fact of Antioches Ephiphanes being a precursor to the ultimate abomination of desolation points to this. Doesn't Daniel speak of Antioches Ephiphanes sacrifice of a pig on the temple alter as an abomination, and yet Jesus speaks of the abomination that causes desolation as a future event. And while Jerusalem and the temple was certainly destroyed, there is no similarity to what Antioches did in the outright desecration of the religious significance of the temple. Destruction versus desecration. Perhaps this is too fine of a point to be making in your eyes, which is where we'll have to unfortunately disagree.

When we are talking about the temple destroyed in 70 AD. Then you mention the second temple. People would expect you to be speaking of the other temple. The one we were speaking of. Since the one destroyed in 70 AD was the first temple destroyed (in our conversation)

don;t try to twist it now.

lol. WHo said the third temple would be destroyed? No one has.

it will be desecrated by an abomination. But as has been proven, This does not mean destroyed. It just mean made "unclean"

This is massively different then being made desolate by being destroyed. There is no abomination (unlean thing or idol) in that desolation. Just a destruction.

for all we know it could be a fourth, Or the finishing up of the third in the kingdom age.

But your correct. It does not fit the new jerusalem temple.

I believe that Ezekiel 40-48 refers to the Millennial Temple. The third temple will be the "Tribulation Temple" which will be built by unbelieving Jews during the first 3 1/2 years of the tribulation period. The stage is being set for this to happen. There is a group in Jerusalem called "The Temple Mount Faithful" who are making preparations to build that 3rd temple:

Ezekiel Temple is actually Heavenly Jerusalem ,because of what ezekiel stated on that last verse , and the name of the city from that day shall be, ‘The LORD is there.’

unless there is 1000 year rein and that what God calls in that timeline dunno really?

Ezekiel & John vision the same place but in diffrent time line dunno. but the only diffrence in Ezekiel and revelation is Ezekiel has a ocean that is healed, Revelation does not have a ocean

God bless

We who are SAVED by GRACE, permanently receive the indwelling of the the Holy Spirit, Who first and foremost brings our once dead human spirit to eternal life. BUT everyone who has that born again human spirit will RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST AS LORD which means MASTER. That means we choose to surrender control of our lives to Jesus Christ as LORD, in other words we GET DOWN off the THRONE in our hearts and GIVE THAT THRONE TO CHRIST.

Thanks I will check that thread out.

thats quite a difference. And would further prove they are not the same.

There are other differences.

Salt water (water not healed) vs fresh water from the temple. Trees used for medicine (to heal the sick) (no sickness in heaven)

Also. Land divided between children of Israel. to whom belongs the land. And even to the levites.

Vs the heavenly which will include israel and the church.

I am sure there are many other differences which PROVE they are not the same

None are so blind . . . .

2 Thessalonians 2:1-5 (NKJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you,
[SUP]2 [/SUP] not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.
[SUP]3 [/SUP] Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,
[SUP]4 [/SUP] who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God
.
[SUP]5 [/SUP] Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things?

2 Thess. 2:4
. . .
Energized by Satan and aided by the false prophet, Antichrist will have immense power to successfully demand that the world worship him (cf. Rev. 13:1-17). Satan, who has always longed to be worshiped (cf. Isa. 14:13-14), will fulfill that desire vicariously through the worship accorded Antichrist. Antichrist will exalt himself by taking his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. The temple, the symbol of God's presence, is the most fitting place for Satan to orchestrate the ultimate act of blasphemy—a wicked man displaying himself as being God. This apostasy, to which Paul refers here and which Jesus called the "abomination of desolation" (Matt. 24:15), referring to Daniel's prophecy, will take place at the midpoint of the Tribulation (Dan. 9:27). It will initiate God's judgment on the world through Antichrist's reign of terror during the second half of the Tribulation. At the end of that three-and-a-half-year period, Christ will return in glory to destroy Antichrist's kingdom and all the ungodly. The Lord Jesus will cast him into the lake of fire along with his false prophet (Rev. 19:11-21).
