Recently I was approached by someone who had participated in a convention in which one man claimed that God had covered him in gold dust. From that day forward, everytime he ministers, gold dust appears on him. Many claimed to have been healed. The man does confirm that the healings are of God and simply is being used for that purpose. That all said, I have my own thoughts, but wanted to hear yours. It is becoming a "popular" ministry as more than one man claims this "gift"

I'd recommend the Yukon for any in the gold dust industry. The Yukon again for any in the gold dust ministry as well. ( Far deep into the woods and isolated )

Did he ask for a credit card LOL. Chez many false teachers and false prophets will show up. They all ways start out like this. Wolves will never look like wolves they will look like sheep. Because someone says he or she is sent by GOD does not make it true. They may produce signs and wonders fake or real that does not make it true. Rememeber the two snakes with Aaron and Moses. Those were real snakes as well. The enemy of GOD is a master counterfieter that is his thing. Think about this the fruit we are to produce is a life style fitting to our KING that is who you represent now being a believer. You have the word of GOD and the HOLY SPIRIT in you. HE will lead you and you are questioning this thing so something in you has given you pause. I think that is your best answer. Please keep us posted and tell us if it is midas lol. Blessings

I totally agree with you Wdeaton65. My thoughts exactly. I even went so far as to tell this person that they need to pray for a descerning spirt. However, I am not God and even God can use a wolf if he wants too.. And btw the convention cost $500 and a plane ticket..lol

Gold dust? It can happen but it's not a regular thing because God does things to glorify himself and further his Kingdom, not to wow audiences. I've experienced silver dust and I was pretty skeptical about the whole thing. I was talking to a Christian friend about moving interstate and how I'd only know God over there. While he was talking, silver dust appeared around his eyes and on the sides of his face. I didn't believe it at first but I stopped my friend and talked to him about the dust. He said he'd had this happen before and told me that God was communicating something to me.

I asked him what silver dust meant. He said Truth - to trust God to his promises (that God would go before me and never leave me as I took the step of faith he had asked of me). I later researched it to confirm what he said, and it was true. He wasn't trying to mislead me. I was blown away by such a sign. It was a small miracle from God! Don't worry, he's not a false teacher or anything - he told me to check what he said with God's Word and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance. I'm very thankful for the experience, and while I don't look for signs, I'm a little less skeptical of such things being possible (and from God).

The dust is physical but it doesn't remain for long, only as long as God deems necessary. And I don't believe he would think to kindly of people who tried to collect his dust for greedy purposes.

I have actually heard about this before years ago but can't remember enough to explain it. I will say that if you go to your local Walmart to the arts and craft section you can purchase gold dust. Normal ppl call it glitter though.

I am all over Google right now looking in to this gold dust thing. There isnt a whole lot on it, but there is one website that stated they had the gold dust tested. IT came back as a type of plastic that is in the same category as glitter.

It is a fraud. There is nothing even in the bible that supports this type of thing.

Maybe in that instance it was but the silver dust I witnessed was no fraud. It just appeared on my friend's face. No falling from the ceiling or sprinkling or anything. He had his hands resting on the arm-rests the whole time. No trickery. And he wasn't trying to prove anything. I'm not going to put it past some big-shot preachers to do pretend miracles in God's name though. They look for power.
