I don't think our leaders today would murder him just because...if they thought he was too nice or crazy....I don't think that about Jesus Christ...he was just the right amount of nice, and right as rain!!

That's why he had to be born and killed in the time that he was...they proved they would...because they did.

If Jesus were living today, there would be no churches and Christians yet. We will see John the Baptist, Mary and Joseph and the 12 Apostles on TV news.

Since, there's no Christianity yet and people have never been taught righteousness and love, we will see crucifixions or stonings as capital punishment.

they are all arrayed against him, as it is written in TORAH long ago. he is crucified anew every day by the heresy by over 1 billion deceived souls lost to the lie, as it is written in SCRIPTURE. the whole world worships demons/ serves demons/ is greedy, immoral, selfish, rebellious against GOD and GOD'S authority, and many more evils as written IN SCRIPTURE.

they don't care if he is nice(he's not).

because he tells the truth from yahweh, they seek to eliminate all who serve him, all who worship the one true creator, all who serve him. without conscience. without admitting or even thinking they are guilty, they murder millions, and murder GOD'S children..... it is daily, every day, until yahshua(jesus) returns....

Yes, I never thought about the historic impact of what Jesus did for us, and how it affects the world today...but now I am thinking about that.

Man's heart is just as wicked today as then. One week we would hail Him as King, the next, shouts of "Crucify Him" would be heard mainly from the ruling religionists.

Well, I reckon if Yeshua sat beside most of us on a bus tomorrow ....... most christians would very promptly move !

Imagine - the robes, probably not too clean, the long matted hair and beard (no shampoos or conditioners), grubby fingernails, the very Middle Eastern appearance, the lack of any deodorant, not a word of English ..... and, possibly accompanied by a dozen or so similar guys, at least one bearing a sword !

I'm afraid so as Ike's kingdom would be threatened with the Truth as are many others :)

Amen!

Philippians 2:9-11 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

study and devour SCRIPTURE like a deer panting for water --- Jesus is kind, He is not 'nice'. the difference might
appear
small, but is in reality huge. (also, this may depend in small part upon what you think nice is - thus see all throughout what Scripture says....) .... if you find yourself in agreement with SCRIPTURE , no worries.

just out of , well, to double check again(after more than a thousand 'checks'/'verifications' from GOD'S WORD) for your sake, potentially, here's the results from just now

Isn't he a living man today? He went up to heaven with his human body. I kind of thought he kept it.

This may be Jeff's point...

“Aslan is a lion- the Lion, the great Lion." "Ooh" said Susan. "I'd thought he was a man. Is he-quite safe? I shall feel rather nervous about meeting a lion"..."Safe?" said Mr Beaver ..."Who said anything about safe? 'Course he isn't safe. But he's good. He's the King, I tell you.”

-C.S. Lewis from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

I should have specified that I meant Jesus today if he were walking among us on earth and living as a man.

I should have specified that the Jesus today that I am thinking of...is well groomed, well dressed, and respectable.

Yes, man's heart is and always has been wicked!

We are fickle and easy to judge others!

We would still turn on him, as they did then!

whether people are nice or not is immaterial.

Jesus' People are not told to be nice, and are warned about

other people(of the world) who 'appear' to be (pretend?) nice.

i.e. in general, overall, 'nice' is an emotional contrivance/device of society; not of GOD.

Someone would kill him.. Remember how Jesus reacted to the money changers in the Temple? And that was peanuts compared to what's happening today. I fear that many modern day preachers would be more ticked-off at what Jesus would have to say about them than the Sadducees and Pharisees ever were?
