Geez....... never seemed to bother you before when you were the one doing it...... since you live in the woods, I'd suggest you cut down some trees, build a bridge, & get over it!

1. Seeing how you cannot judge mood, temperament and or motive over a chat web site you assessment is invalid.
2. Seeing how you are only 16.... you really don't know anything yet and will not know anything for about 20 years and then you will realize that you didn't know jack crap when you were 16 and thought you knew everything.
3. Seeing how 2 is true..I will over look your young ignorance of facts and misguided immature judgment and love you in Christ anyway and will not get mad or upset at what you said, but rather as an older and much wiser brother have corrected your thinking out of a pure motive and heart of Christian love...

yes that is me in 1985 at the age of 18 and no I did not answer an ad on the Marine Corp as I got up one day and just decided I was going to join the Marines....I really honestly cant stand ads, commercials, church signs with witty clichés etc...I understand what they are doing and I have no problem with the ads that are moral and decent...
Now, sorry, not to derail, but what is the courtesy on that? If I can't get on for a day and when I do there's a new post with 10 pages and 500 replies, am I really obligated to read them all before I comment on what's going on now? I mean, I'm with you dc, I thought the same thing when I saw it, he obviously didn't read the first page. I at least read that much. But if I miss something in the middle of the fray and comment on it in relation to what's going on now, am I going to get jumped on?

I don't think it's loss of control, I think it's more just his way of communicating. They say there's no atheists in a foxhole, well there's no pansies either. When you put your life on the front lines you kinda loose that soft and cuddly thing. I think that's what you're sensing and yeah, you have a point. He is a little rough around the edges. And we're not on the front line here, are we? I guess it depends upon which enemy you are fighting. And which one is fighting you.
So it's a matter of interpretation. For example:
1. Since we can't see or hear true body language and vocal inflection when reading these posts, they can come across in ways unintended, and one has to take that into account when reading these things.
2. I was once 16, but you weren't once 47. I know things now that I didn't know then, and when you get to be my age you will realize that too. So remember your youth and consider my experience when you interpret the things that you read.
3. Realizing the experience difference, I will love you in Christ and assure you I am not writing in anger, and pray for the day you can see that I write out of passion for God and His love.

What you said in #2 contradicts what you said in #1. We're not aware of each other's temperaments, so you cannot tell for certain if I think I know everything. You're basing this assumption not out of fact but out off of circumstantial evidence regarding teenagers.
In #3, you tell me that I display misguided and immature judgement, while you yourself resort to shouting (via mass capitalization of letters) when in heated debate. Take a look at many of your arguments against debaters like Seabass and you'll notice the tone of immaturity in your posts.
There is no excuse to act like that when you have the luxury of spending 2 hours to formulate a reply to another person via the internet, rather than having only 10 seconds to reply to another person in real time.
