I go to a Catholic Church in my town. We my family first moved here everyone was super friendly and welcoming and I love going to Mass every Sunday. At every Mass I feel like God is speaking directly to me. I Love it!
church family is very important. They can be the ones that are there for you when no one else is. Happy for ya!

My experience to date has been many churches most of which ordered me to stay clear of because I generally will take their ministers in private and speak to them about errors I find in what they teach and few are humble to abide that. They then hawk my every word, distort what little I speak openly amidst their congregation, and label me an apostate, even as the Jews did Christ.

The few that welcome me (like the one I was baptized in by water baptism out of respect primarily for my fleshly sister's conscience and considering the members who thought like her), Those few are separated from me by so many miles I rarely get a chance, especially these days since my health problems.

So I apply, Psalms 27:10 "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up."

And I go where I can go when they permit me to go. And though I try always to speak with respect at the proper time and place for it, I let none silence the joy of the Lord within me.

Nowadays there is just so much meanness in this world your lucky to find a friend, or have a family member that wont stab ya in the back, or find a church that not only believes what you believe but does it in love and kindness.

I love my church family. They are to me the best people in the world.

I wish everyone could experience what I experience in church and with the church family.

So even when I don't agree with some people's christian doctrine, (I'm oneness apostolic) I am very happy that they feel welcomed some where because we all need love.

On a site like as this one people get to hear far more concerning what I believe than those in any church group that I visit. I place the unity of the love and peace of Christ above most of what I believe and so am careful about what I say in those settings. I am careful here, but I have more opportunity here to express more details of what I believe as that is an accepted norm here. I very much appreciate that freedom which the love of those who run this site wisely permits. I see this site as far more advanced in maturity as compared to many of the more isolated church groups.

Among those groups I always ask myself before I speak if what I am about to speak is necessary by urgency of saving a brother or sister from a serious misconception which might cost them their salvation.

For example, I am able to accept one that wishes to see Jesus as God or just sees Jesus as the Son of God, knowing that in time God will reveal such things to him if they but really love him.

It is only when i see that the way they believe is become a means to keep them from benefiting from the grace that God has shown us in Christ that I speak up in those settings. And even then with words well seasoned.

But sadly, many are run by their shepherds like a totalitarian rule of the arm of flesh and so they accept no challenge to what they say, while at the same time being the first ones to condemn groups like Jehovah's Witnesses for doing that very same thing.

It tears one's heart out to see this about them. It is not a hate thing at all, but a true love thing.

And some of that resistance is caused of outside private conversations where there has been more request to speak filtering back to them by one who really only asked me to speak so they could stab me in the back.

Re: I join a pentecostal church

I join a pentecostal church in Elmshorn near Hamburg. It is very important to join a church. Sometimes I attend a service in a very conservative Mennonite church. This town has 44,000 inhabitants and our church has 150 members.

It does not matter how big a church is. I could even imagine that there were lot a house churches in Elmshorn with 20 people. The most important thing is sharing the gospel.
Yes in season and out of season ready to give an account for our Joy found in Christ by the truth given to us through the Holy Ghost yes yes and yes again

UPC has had a rough go at it, honestly, I believe, there is a lot of legalism going on in certain areas. I understand that they just want "protect" people, but people need to grow in their own way on their own time. no skinning the cat or anything like that.
I myself go to a very caring upc church and it's great, but I have been in other upc churchs though-out the years and they just really skin ya alive trying to make you into super-upc-er over night.
You have sight my sister you have sight continue with God above all else go Sister Go!!!!!!!!!!

there are deceptive spirits going out everywhere study the word of god. for there shall arise many false prophets and many false christs and shall decieve many. if anyone does not speak according to this word it is because they have no light in them. and you shall know them by their fruits a good tree bears good fruit and a bad tree bears bad fruit a good tree cannot bear bad fruit. check galations chapter 5 to see what the word of god says the fruits are to understand who you should listen to and study and check everything EVERYTHING a man tells you about GOD in the bible for yourself
And what does anything have against God's type of Love poured out through the Holy Ghost? And how are we to LOVE others? is unconditionally trusting God to straighten out any errors in us and or others by Faith. So as I see it tellwhat one sees in Love God's type best described in 1 cor 13:4-13. Just food for thought so noone bashes any other for where they have freely chosen to attend any Church gatthering

that's right and according to you I'm still damned to hell.....

Nice to know what ya think of me. have an excellent day.
Well Jinx I believe in the trinity and that all are one as well, yet to me this is not a salvation issue as Christ is the only way, the truth and the life, I just see the Holy Ghost as the coupler to seperate truth from error so I can be free in Christ.
I just love you Jinx as Christ does too. Carry on and just grow in your trust in God

I know of what you say, been there and done that, I only go today when led to go, where peace will be recvieved as led.

flesh will continue to be flesh and always state its over way over God's and wanting to be in control where that one that is controlled by flesh is decieved and afraid of change when change is what willbring safety in the Spirit of God, by God's Love not this worlds way of love that is only truly selfish acting as if itis not, been there and am learning much here from you and others as well thank you

I'm not even sure what all of those churches mean or do, or what the difference is. I go to a ''community church''
and I love it XD
