The explanation contained in this video is key to understanding the New Testament.

I liked this message and agreed with the gist of what the preacher said. Many of us Christians who are New Covenant saints are trying (out of ignorance) to live as Old Covenant saints. As a matter of fact., many Christians today don't even know they are IN the new covenant and have not even ever heard this phrase "new covenant" and applied it to themselves. I never did until just a few years ago.

The need to rightly divide the word of truth is very much lacking in the lives of us Christians today. Many are being tossed back and forth in confusion. But the message this preacher is getting out about the new covenant of grace for the church (body of Christ) is getting out more and more. Thank You Jesus!

The only thing I don't agree with the speaker about is that Paul did as did the other apostles had the gifts of the Holy Spirit. That we too have those gifts of the Holy Spirit today in the church. But that is for another thread. I very much agree with the other things the pastor on the video said. Thank you Marcello for posting this. I hope many believers on CC listen because it would sure help in the department in the matter of rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

The Bible was written FOR all of us from start to finish. But everything in the Bible was not written TO all of us. That is where rightly dividing comes in. The Bible is God breathed and profitable for -instruction; reproof., correction., for training in righteousness. 2 Tim.3:16-17

[SUP]16 [/SUP]Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action),
[SUP]17 [/SUP]So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.

And the Holy Spirit is totally necessary for this to happen. It takes a life time of studying to keep on learning about these truths in the Bible and no one person here on earth has it all down 100% right yet. There will always be more to learn from the Bible and the Spirit of God. The rivers will flow and keep on flowing as the truth comes in each day. His mercies are NEW every morning.

Thank God we are not left alone in this process of being renewed in the Spirit of our minds., in the daily transformation into the image of Christ.

If you follow Paul you are actually following Christ.
