Did Jesus come to preach traditions and doctrines? Or did he come to seek and save the lost. I say, SEEK!!! AND SAVE!!!
To seek and save. Though what is belief or how do you have belief without doctrine, or doctrine without any tradition?

In the Garden, there was only one doctrine. And man failed to keep that command, giving birth to iniquity in the hearts of men, whereby Cain, moved with envy killed his brother Abel.

From then, kingdoms rose up, and nations and people. Kingdoms to exalt themselves above all that is called true and holy. And corrupted themselves. God beholding the iniquity in the hearts of men, deciding that the thoughts of men are evil from their birth, decided to destroy the world because of iniquity. And only 8 souls were saved alive. Only 8!!!

And the Lord, finding a man who was upright in heart, blessed him. And gave him an everlasting blessing. Abraham. This promise was made to him and his seed, which should come after him.

This seed, is Jesus Christ. He came into the world also with one doctrine, and he left with it also:

John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

The doctrines of the Pharisees were not according to truth, because they left off mercy, which comes of love. Was it love to stone someone? Was it love to not let the blind receive sight? Was it love to keep tradition and disobey the commands of God? Was it love to kill him?

Their doctrines say, LAW, but they are proof that they do not keep the law, because they are evil. This is why they hated Jesus. Because he was good. By keeping their traditions they broke God's law. And thereafter killed the one who gave it.

This same Pharisaical Spirit has resurfaced in the hearts of the Gentiles, but the time of the gentiles will be over soon, and then we will all see who is Lord, and who are his disciples. As the hearts grow against love, iniquity will increase. And the end of iniquity is hell.

Thankyou Ramon for this post.
Ive been praying alot about these diputes lately also.
As I cannot debate the many things spoken to, simply because I cannot see the meaning of the many things debated.
OSAS, cesationism, predestonation,,, good grief, I cant even spell these things. :)
What I know is given in Jesus, through scripture, witness, resting always in the Holy Spirit.
First was the law, then Jesus fullfilled the law, the one thing that has stood out to me in the time Jesus walked the earth was how
Jesus showed that it is love, faith and mercy that we are called to.
I look at the woman with the bleeding issue who broke the law by not just being near others, but touching Jesus.
She in faith, sought out Jesus, looking to His mercy and love , that she would be healed.
The many times, Jesus stood up to the pharacies, when they tried to trap Him for healing on the sabbath, or picking grain to eat.
There are more examples , but the message that is shown here is that what we do must be filled with love, mercy and faith in Jesus!
Not to dissmiss anything, but to bring the compleatness of Gods will in us all through grace, faith, hope and love in Jesus.
This is what must be our first in faith.
Jesus brings all these things in us, all needed to recieved through the Holy Spirit, His work in us.
Given in scripture, witness, works.
To simply say, none of these things have any value if one does not have Jesus, in Jesus, we witness to this, so that the glory of God may live in each of us and others through faith in Jesus.
His great love.
It is not the debate or correction that is wrong, but the angry words and obsession that are no longer in Jesus.
These things come and rob, steal and destroy the message of Jesus.
As said in your post Ramon, if what we do does not bring fruit, there is no Jesus.
It is the fruit, witness, edification, serving, teaching, healing, love.. all things when spoken to in the faith, hope and love we know in Jesus.
If we lose sight of Jesus, we lose sight of the truth.
We need always to live in the vine, for braches cannot live without the vine.
All is valued when in Jesus.
Without Jesus, all is death.
Thankyou for this post Ramon, it brings the word to all spoken and done in Jesus.

In Jesus, God bless.

These are strong and well worded statements. The doctrines of a man's religion, and the traditions which are a continual witness of the things Jesus has done in that person's life; Are also meant for the next generations; to keep and to consider, "What do these things mean, and how do they affect my life on a personal level? But when we use our religion's doctrines like a club or sword against another, like those who came to take Jesus with swords, and clubs, we neglect the witness of Jesus Christ, Who showed us mercy. Indeed, the law stated that the lamb needed to be sacrificed. Who could have known that the law reveals who we are and why we are that way? Jesus wasn't crucified because of our love for Him. Law reveals that in our sin, we needed to sacrifice the Son of God because of our sin. So who could say they keep the law, if the law reveals that we are sinners? If one law is broken, they all are broken, and none of us could boast in the law. The only thing we have to boast in is the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ! It is because of His mercy that we came to understand the necessity of the law, which leads us to Christ.

AMEN!! Now that is well spoken Pickles!! Amen. It is about Charity more than anything!! This is why the Lord spoke to a certain church, telling them they had gone away from their first love. Telling them to go and do the FIRST WORKS! I was rebuked by that. And I did remember the first works, how that by patience in love and mercy I saw people come to Jesus.

Amen! May Jesus bless you !

AMEN!!!! The law, it was written, is like a schoolmaster to bring us to Christ Jesus!!!

I heard stories that in older times, schoolmasters used to be allowed to whip children with a paddle. Well, the law did the same thing to me. Since I have not, neither could I keep all the law, it overwhelmed me. How could I be righteous then? By keeping the whole law? NO!!! lol. I needed MERCY!!! And now I have a new schoolmaster, the Holy Spirit to guide me into all truth!!

May Jesus bless you.

While the Christians bicker, the Lord is saving souls.

I see a VERY grave sadness. Many Christians are not concerned with souls. Many of them are more concerned about how they can be satisfied in this life. The complain and bicker of doctrines and traditions that can do nothing to save a soul. Meanwhile, Jesus is saving souls. Some Christians are doing the Lord's work, in love and in that testimony put in them of the Lord to give glory to his name.

What is it?

Two friends. They knew each other for years. One a Christian, one a sinner. They did things together, they ate together, they laughed together. But the Christian mentioned church, and mentioned church duties, but never mentioned Jesus.

What is it, if his friend ended up in hell. What would he wonder? ''Why did my friend not tell me of this place? Why did he not tell me about the reality of this place? All that time we spent together, and he never even mentioned Jesus?'' NO HOPE! NO HOPE!!!

HYPOCRITES!! VAIN JANGLERS!! LOVELESS!!

Did Jesus come to preach traditions and doctrines? Or did he come to seek and save the lost. I say, SEEK!!! AND SAVE!!!

Not one of you by your bickering can bring one soul to Jesus, neither do you desire it. You desire to have people in subjection to rules, and not to Jesus Christ, who will certainly save them. These are those who prevent people to go in, and do not go in themselves. Fearful, loveless Christians.

There is but one doctrine that is the doctrine of life, and any rebellion against that doctrine is rebellion against God!! Jesus Christ came into this world to testify of that doctrine. And that doctrine is OF LOVE!! It is not a doctrine of man. It is the DOCTRINE OF LOVE!! Who knows love? Do you know your bible, but you don't know God? Do you know your pastors and your friends, and your sin, but you don't know Jesus?

Tell me. Who would die for you? Tell me, who would die for you even when you hated them and spat on them? Your doctrine did not die for you. But Jesus died. Your bible didn't shed blood for you, but Jesus did. If you want life, GO TO JESUS CHRIST!! HE WILL GIVE YOU LIFE! HE WILL BE A WELL OF WATER SPRINGING UP IN YOU! HE WILL BE BREAD FOR THE HUNGER OF YOUR SOUL!!

Call on Jesus Christ, and he will save you from the judgement to come. He is the ONLY one who can.

May Jesus bless you.

Wow.
You are just awesome!
