Yes but there is a small point here you both have missed the scripture by Christ Jesus to His Apostles writes on the 3rd day He will rise meaning A Friday crucifiction also fits, If Friday is taken as 1 day and one night, Saturday is one day and night thats 2 days and then Sunday is now the third day has appeared just after midnight it is still classed as night not morning thats 3 days and three nights
I do know that part of a day counted as one day. :)

The hebrews would not have practiced the 7 feasts of YHWH for all most 1,500 years to get it wrong when the real LAMB was offered just saying the account in the N/T lines up with Lev. 23 perfectly if you just study the spring feasts all the way to pentacost feast of weeks Yeshua said go to Jerusalem and wait for the gift the HOLY SPIRIT. that would happen and did happen on pentacost just like they practice for all those years. The LORD never misses a beat. It is such a great study Lev 23 the feasts are fun they are a way for us to be a blessing to all not legalism. Remember as believers we are the temple and Yeshua is our high priest. so no matter where we go there HE is. Blessings

They held feasts to the Golden Calf.

1 Chron 23:31 "and whenever burnt offerings were presented to the LORD on Sabbaths and at New Moon festivals and at appointed feasts. They were to serve before the LORD regularly in the proper number and in the way prescribed for them." (here weekly, monthly and yearly)

2 Chron 2:4 "Now I am about to build a temple for the Name of the LORD my God and to dedicate it to him for burning fragrant incense before him, for setting out the consecrated bread regularly, and for making burnt offerings every morning and evening and on Sabbaths and New Moons and at the appointed feasts of the LORD our God. This is a lasting ordinance for Israel." NIV (here also, weekly, monthly and yearly)

Neh 10:33 "or the bread set out on the table; for the regular grain offerings and burnt offerings; for the offerings on the Sabbaths, New Moon festivals and appointed feasts; for the holy offerings; for sin offerings to make atonement for Israel; and for all the duties of the house of our God." (here also, weekly, monthly and yearly)

Hos 2:11 "I will stop all her celebrations: her yearly festivals, her New Moons, her Sabbath days-all her appointed feasts." (here yearly, monthly and weekly)

Ezek 45:17 "It will be the duty of the prince to provide the burnt offerings, grain offerings and drink offerings at the festivals, the New Moons and the Sabbaths-at all the appointed feasts of the house of Israel. He will provide the sin offerings, (Jesus has done it!) grain offerings, burnt offerings and fellowship offerings to make atonement for the house of Israel." (here also yearly, monthly and weekly)

These are Jewish festivals and I do not see the relevance to Christianity. To be perfectly frank it reads to me like pagan moon worship.

I think we need to be the same about this as we are with pork and not offend our Christian brothers and sisters in Christ, but each to their own.

Just my opinion.

They held feasts to the Golden Calf. This happened only for a moment while Moses was on Mount Sinai.

1 Chron 23:31 "and whenever burnt offerings were presented to the LORD on Sabbaths and at New Moon festivals and at appointed feasts. They were to serve before the LORD regularly in the proper number and in the way prescribed for them." (here weekly, monthly and yearly)Correct

This is a lasting ordinance for Israel." NIV (here also, weekly, monthly and yearly)Correct

Neh 10:33 "or the bread set out on the table; for the regular grain offerings and burnt offerings; for the offerings on the Sabbaths, New Moon festivals and appointed feasts; for the holy offerings; for sin offerings to make atonement for Israel; and for all the duties of the house of our God." (here also, weekly, monthly and yearly)Correct

Hos 2:11 "I will stop all her celebrations: her yearly festivals, her New Moons, her Sabbath days-all her appointed feasts." (here yearly, monthly and weekly)This is because Israel was playing the harlot, mixing pagan practices with YAH feasts, which was an abomination to Him. Read all of Hosea, it will give you the whole pic.

Ezek 45:17 "It will be the duty of the prince to provide the burnt offerings, grain offerings and drink offerings at the festivals, the New Moons and the Sabbaths-at all the appointed feasts of the house of Israel. He will provide the sin offerings, (Jesus has done it!) grain offerings, burnt offerings and fellowship offerings to make atonement for the house of Israel." (here also yearly, monthly and weekly)This is unclean sin as it states, not sin unto death, and this is during millenial reign of Messiah after He returns to reign as King. These unclean/sin and grain offerings will be done before Yeshua

These are Jewish festivals and I do not see the relevance to Christianity. To be perfectly frank it reads to me like pagan moon worship. Careful, what you call pagan moon worship is YAH's ordained, hallowed feasts He created for ALL those who are His children, then, now and forever.

I think we need to be the same about this as we are with pork and not offend our Christian brothers and sisters in Christ, but each to their own.

Just my opinion.
It's not each to their own, nor does scripture teach such. And pork was NEVER called food by YAH. The church declared it food. We are to walk in obedience to YAH His way not our way.

I dont type well enough to explain completly so the short version is this. Jerusalem which means pointing the way to wholeness was the city on a hill. The new moon would be spotted and then they would light a signal fire like in the movies.
Yeshua tells us the city on the hill a light to all the nations means more than just teaching. When they would make the announcment that the feast would be in so many days passover they new once the new moon was spotted it would be 14 days until the evening of the passover. same with pentacost and also starting the fall feast tishri trumpets yom terrah The whole Bible is on a lunar calander not solar. Genesis 1 I would ask all to study these things the sun moon and stars were not made until the 4th day Jerusalem would lite a fire and it took time to get the message all the way to Dan and to the rest of the believers this has nothing to do with paganism they didnt have tv or phones just joking. So this was the responibility of Jerusalem to keep the feast days. This is what Paul is talking about in col. 2;17 people would judge one another because they may have missed it by a couple of days He is not telling them that they are not to honor the feasts that would be against the word. We do and shamar keep these because we love HIM they are all about Yeshua. I am not saved because i keep them. I am only saved by what Yeshua JESUS did for me at the cross and firstfruits. I am no better than anyone for honoring them.
The point I would like to make is we dont tell YHWH how we worship HIM and follow HIS instructions. We live in a KINGDOM.
HIS KINGDOM we dont tell the KING how to run HIS KINGDOM at least I am not going to. Blessings

Neither does He or his Son ever call the flesh of sinful men something to be eaten but we were told to eat of Christ's flesh.

That we are not to eat the flesh of sinful men by intimate friendship with them is clear in what you have just observed. We must reserve that kind of intimate association for sharing with Christ (which includes the brothers who have Christ in them by love and who are making an honest effort to grow in that love).

Bad choices of companionship gets too quickly into us as if having eaten of the God ignoring person so that his ways become mingled into us.

1 Corinthians 15:33 "Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners." (KJV)

1 Corinthians 15:33 "Do not be tricked by false words: evil company does damage to good behaviour." (BBE)

1 Corinthians 15:33 "Don't be deceived! “Evil companionships corrupt good morals.”.." (WEB)

Christ is our manna, our bread from heaven for that reason. And that is why they died who took liberty to try to fend for themselves with other foods there in the desert. Even desiring such was punished.

That is how we see the spirit of that law.

That is right. I don't eat pork, either, but I listen to what Paul told me when it comes to forcing my conscience on others.

His point is never that it is not a good thing to refrain from pork but only that we had not ought place the physical ahead of the spiritual in such a way as to either sidetrack others to only seeing physically or turning away ones who might disagree over the physical so that we never get the chance to show them the spiritual.

The physical ought never be used to destroy anyone in violation of love. Our main push ought to be the spiritual because God is love and love is a spirit as God is a spirit. And that is where transformation has it's power.

Inside of the cup and platter first that the outside might also become clean. A man's spirit rules his body but only if we first concentrate on it's needs. And it's need is to learn that spirit of love which sums up all the righteousness of God.

That is right. I don't eat pork, either, but I listen to what Paul told me when it comes to forcing my conscience on others. I agree, but are we talking about forcing our conscience on someone or declaring what YAH commanded not to eat? A bit of a difference, yes?

His point is never that it is not a good thing to refrain from pork but only that we had not ought place the physical ahead of the spiritual in such a way as to either sidetrack others to only seeing physically or turning away ones who might disagree over the physical so that we never get the chance to show them the spiritual.
To obey YAH's word of not eating pork in no way puts that before the spiritual, especially being obedient is spiritual. Now making the eating of pork a priority over salvation IS wrong, the learning of this is for those who already have salvation and are learning to walk in YAH's ways. I would never focus on this with a non believer, for it isn't relevant if he/she doesn't have Yeshua.

The physical ought never be used to destroy anyone in violation of love. Our main push ought to be the spiritual because God is love and love is a spirit as God is a spirit. And that is where transformation has it's power.Amen

Amen, no argument here.

Nothing has been blotted out this is Pauls opinion. The truth is the 10 commandments have been written into Gds childrens hearts and minds as written in scripture. The law is not a curse it is pure and Holy. Perverted churches have distorted and maligned maybe Pauls writings
What was blotted out was the earthly sanctuary services and sacrifices. We no longer need to sacrifice Lambs because Jesus is the Lamb. We no longer need to keep passover because Christ is our Passover. We still need to go to the Priest But, Christ is our priest we go to Him and He is the sacrifice for us.

The 10 commandments were inside the ark written on stone now they are written on our heart within us. They are to be written on our heart and lived out in the life.

I agree with what you are saying because I understand it. I have pointed out here, and in other threads, examples of how we can see the spirit behind God's law. And I have pointed out that Paul quite clearly advocates always erring on the side of love rather than selfishly insisting upon the old rote letter of the law, for when we insist on the old rote letter in a mechanical fashion we violate the law in that it is never to be used in a way that violates God's high standard of love.

I personally choose not to buy and prepare pork for myself to eat. I see that ANIOHEVTORAH is mistaken that the literal physical requirement was required for anyone outside that Old Covenant. And I see that he is mistaken that pork is any worse for us to eat than is red meat. Recently it was found that red meat is far more harmful to our arteries than pork because the L-carnitine in red meat accelerates the build up of plaque in our arteries. And for that reason energy drinks that contain L-carnitine are also bad for us. What do we learn from this?

We learn that the problem is not pork or any of the unclean meats in a literal sense under that Old law. We learn that the health issues are purely that man was not designed to eat any meat, period. And that special concession to eat meat was only instituted after the flood.

The physicals things about that Old Law were only commanded to Israel by the covenant for them to show that they would obey God matter not what he asked, even as Abraham being asked to sacrifice Isaac, because it is not the abstaining from those physical things which keeps one pure, but the recognizing that God has the right to command us as he wills and our allegiance must be to him in whatever he asks of us.

that willingness to do whatever God asks of us, that is what is holy and pure as God is pure.

this needs further explanation: "I said, for when we insist on the old rote letter in a mechanical fashion we violate the law in that it is never to be used in a way that violates God's high standard of love. I personally choose not to buy and prepare pork for myself to eat."

I have found that any meat flares up an illness I have which causes my legs to become crippled a few times a year. So I emphasize the vegetables, legumes, grains, and fruits for my diet after the pattern of what we are told in Daniel.

But I have relatives that when I dine with them do not seem to take my preferences into consideration though I have made those preferences known to them. So I make concessions when I dine with them knowing that to push the matter with them only ends up in protest if I make too much out of it. And i well know that they like as most men are stiff-necked and stubborn about their opinions. Therefore I would never dream of building back up the partition of separation that Christ lived and died to tear down.

And that is the important focus. It is not whether one believes in his conscience that he must keep that Old Law by a physical letter for letter approach, but whether such a man uses his belief that those Old Covenant Laws are still binding upon himself to rebuild that wall again that Christ tore down, by causing a separation to again exist and destroying that peace Christ lived and died to bring to us.

Galatians 2:18 "For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor."

The thing destroyed is what we are warned against again building. That separation which brought two peoples into conflict.

That is what Christ destroyed in himself, but what Paul there takes responsibility to himself for Christs having to die to bring about.

And that is because Paul knew David's spirit which was written about for us by David:

First David shows it is God who declared that Law void: Psalms 89:38-39 "But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed. Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant: thou hast profaned his crown by casting it to the ground."

But he also shows where the responsibility lay for God's having to do so: Psalms 119:126 "It is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law."
