The Baptismal Mode: Immersion in Water

"And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water..."(Matthew 3:16)

"And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized."(John 3:23)

"And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing."(Acts 8:36-39)

"Therefore we are buried with him by baptism..."(Romans 6:4) immersion in water

"Buried with him in baptism..."(Colossians 2:12) immersion in water

Baptism is a verb. We can not make it mean water everytime we see it.

Rom 6: 4 says we were baptised (verb) into his death (subject of the verb) Not in water. no water mentioned.

Col 2: 12 says it was God who baptized us. No mention of water.

Jesus said we would be baptized byu the spirit. no water

John said he baptized in water. But jesus would baptize with spirit and fire. No water.

Scripture says the children of Israel were baptized in moses./ No water

Peter witnessed gentiles being baptized with the HS no water until after baptized in the spirit.

Sorry. Your wrong in your assumptions

again, there is one baptism. I chose the Baptism performed by God. who is the only one with the power to baptize me into Christs death, burial, and body, and eventually his resurrection

I will pray you will not be baptized by him in a fire that shall never be quenched, where there is weeping and nashing of teeth.

But everyone will be baptized by Christ/ Take you pick. The HS or Fire/. Water will not replace one, but may lead to the other..

I never said I'm replacing....I'm doing both baptism in water in the name of Jesus Christ and baptism of His Holy Spirit
