Of course they are, take the blinders off.
Well if you think you'd be worshipping the devil by participating in Halloween then feel free to abstain, but I don't see anything inherently satanic by either a) honouring the saints or b) having a bit of fun.

If dressing up as a ghost or something makes you a devil worshipper, what does a baptist dressing up in a clown costume and doing a skit in a church service make them?

So dressing up as ghost and goblins and going around declaring trick or treat for candy is honoring dead saints, come on dude you don;t believe that. The witches would go to the towns people and demand treats or threaten them with a curse on the home hince treat or treat. How does that honor dead saints? Like i said take the blinders off.

No, the dressing up etc. is a bit of fun. But one can choose to stay at home or go to church incorporating All Hallows Eve as part of All Saints Day. Or if you wanted you could dress up as a saint and do both.

Dress up as a saint and then go trick or treating, sound like honoring witches, not saints.

Or it's just a bit of fun.
I really don't understand where you're coming from...Can you describe a typical Halloween for you? What do you see? What do you do? Is there anything you disagree with? etc.

If honoring witches is your type of fun??????
I think the intent with which it is done must be considered. I'd wager that most kids think scary costumes are fun, and I'm inclined to agree.

Typically I don't do owt for Halloween. This year I might go to a party. Some kids like to go out and pester people for sweeties but I was never into that. The only problem I can really see is when some of the older kids are quite serious about 'trick' part of 'trick or treating'. But in all my life I can honestly say I've never seen anyone particpating in any satanic rituals or putting hexes on anyone.
