Why is that so many professing Christians "APPEAR" to trump & teach others to trump Jesus' Love laws. teachings, commandment?
Jesus is quoted saying, The keeping of 2 fulfills all other laws. The 1st is loving God with all ones being, is keeping the 1st commandment which leads to keeping all other laws. Likewise, keeping the other 9, will lead one to keep the God' 1st commandment, as will loving ones neighbor, as in Jesus' story of the good Samaritan.

Anyway, the keeping of Jesus'4 love teachings leads its followers where Jesus went. All other teachings & teachers are to be trumped with Jesus' 4 Love teachings, NOT the other way around! Parable as written, Come out of (following) the lack of knowledge my people! Or don't!

Feel free to agree, disagree, pass it on, fellowship, or?

Well yeah, it should lead us to the cross...where Jesus went, love's greatest location. Otherwise we shouldn't fool ourselves into thinking we even begin to love as Jesus loved...not with the mooshy gooshy stuff but laying down our lives for the brethren.

Is not an example of Jesus' love teachings, for his professing believers to follow, even to love (have charity) thy enemy? Was the Samaritans & Jews considered friends or foes? If foes, then Jesus' story (parable) is a good example of selfless love, above sect doctrines, & its self righteous anti-love/Christ teachings! Likewise, is not Jesus from the cross quoted praying, Father for give them for murdering me, for they know not what they do.
I have learned that Love & Want are not the same thing, as Jesus' (the way) life proved. If I truly love, I am more than willing to physically die for that I love, but out of self want I am not ready, willing nor able to hold the ground Love is willing to hold! True Love Will Not Back down/change for it is one with The Spirit Of Eternal Truth, The way home that Jesus lived & taught!

When all these scripture giving God's truths are used to "trump" other truths, they are used by the evil one. Love is the basis of all law. It was the day the world was created, it was when Moses came off the mountain with the stone plates, and it was the day Christ was crucified. I is and always has been so that the whole law can be summed up in love. God even gave the 613 laws because he loved His people and wanted a shalom world for them. Christ replaced most of the 613 laws with His body and His blood, but the principle of those laws all remain the same. Christ wiped out nothing, and the word fulfilled does not mean that.

Unless you can say that Christ wiped out animal blood, for His blood is now used. Christ wiped out the temple, for Christ now lives in us not the temple. God does not work in generalities, He is exact, specific. He operates in such an exact way that we tell time by one of His principles!!! So when you say wiped out, then be specific.

So yes, Christians are specific about Jesus' love teachings. And "trumping" has nothing to do with it.

I heard a pastor say this one time: when we think of love, we think that it means that if you love me, you will not tell me no, you will always agree with my ideas, you will be understanding to whatever I do. this is the human view of love. God's view of love is telling us no to bad things, say through the Spirit to us that we do not always have good ideas, and tell us if we do wrong we need to stop it. this is true Jesus-type love.
