Doesn't matter what you titled the thread - you claimed the sceptre has not departed from Judah, which in my understanding is in error.
Pro 3:5
(5) Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
and lean not unto your own understanding.
Pro 25:17-18
(17) Withdraw thy foot from thy neighbour's house; lest he be weary of thee, and so hate thee.
(18) A man that beareth false witness against his neighbour is a maul, and a sword, and a sharp arrow.
What I said was:
AMEN, amen. Holy Holy Holy Lord God Almighty! Let us Kiss the SON! For the sceptre shall not depart from JUDAH!
So either you made an honest mistake or another spirit is working.... I assume you made an honest mistake.
The Lamb of Peace is also the Lion of the Tribe of Judah as well as the KING of kings and LORD of lords A.K.A. the God of Heaven and Earth, the Creator and sustainer of all life, the Judge of man and the SON of MAN....HE IS the Messiah, Adonia and his name is JESUS the savior and redeemer of men!
The reason I said I could have used
King of Peace in the title clearly points out that I hold that Jesus Christ is the King and holds the sceptre which the scriptures clearly record,
which you also have said. I also hold that Jesus is of Judah and the Sceptre
shall not depart from Him. Which is what dcontroversial and I and probably others were rejoicing in.
The scriptures clearly point to Judah prevailing
both in the Priesthood and in the Kingship.
Mat 2:1-2
(1) Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
(2) Saying,
Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
Mat 5:34-35
(34) But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:
(35) Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem;
for it is the city of the great King.
Mat 27:35-37
(35) And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.
(36) And sitting down they watched him there;
(37) And set up over his head his accusation written,
THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
Joh 18:36-37
(36) Jesus answered,
My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
(37) Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king.
To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
Heb 7:13-14
(13) For he of whom these things are spoken
pertains to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.
(14) For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Judah; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.
1Pe 2:9-10
(9) But ye are a chosen generation,
a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
(10) Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
Rev 5:5 & 10
(5) And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not:
behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
(10) And
hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Gen 49:8
(8) To you, Judah, will your brothers give praise: your hand will be on the neck of your haters;
your father's sons will go down to the earth before you.
The sceptre is in Christ's hands, Judah does not rule the kingdom and never will.
The scriptures clearly point out that
Judah in
Gen 49:8 refers prophetically to that
Seed that should come
from the tribe of Judah to reign forever more. Who else in the entirety of the universe
can rightly be named "Celebrated?" How funny, that was the whole point of my post. Offering for others
to Celebrate the Lamb with me.
The prophetic precept seems to follow the line of promise from Adam, to Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, through Judah to David, unto
Christ Jesus the True Seed of Promise.
Gal 3:16 Now to Abraham were the promises given,
and to his seed. He says not, And to seeds, as of a great number;
but as of one, he says, And to your seed, which is Christ.
