Why Jesus Christ is my personal Savior?

(Part II)

But the question comes in mind that is the Jesus Christ that savior? Let’s try to get answer………..

The Jesus Christ:

(Micah 5:2 ), "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times."

(Luke 2: 1-7) 1 In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. 2 This was the first registration when Quirinius was governor of Syria. 3 And all went to be registered, each to his own town. 4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, 5 to be registered with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. 6 And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. 7 And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.

(Psalms 72:9-11) “9 May desert tribes bow down before him and his enemies lick the dust!
10 May the kings of Tarshish and of the coastlands render him tribute; may the kings of Sheba and Seba bring gifts! 11 May all kings fall down before him, all nations serve him!”

(Matthew 2:1-11) 1After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem 2 and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him." 3 When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him. 4 When he had called together all the people's chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Christ was to be born. 5 "In Bethlehem in Judea," they replied, "for this is what the prophet has written: 6 "'But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will be the shepherd of my people Israel.'" 7 Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared. 8 He sent them to Bethlehem and said, "Go and make a careful search for the child. As soon as you find him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him." 9 After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. 10 When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. 11 On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh.”

(Hosea 11:1) "When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son."

(Matthew 2:14-15)14So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for Egypt, 15 where he stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: "Out of Egypt I called my son."

(Psalms 2:7) “I will proclaim the decree of the LORD: He said to me, "You are my Son ; today I have become your Father.”

(Matthew 3:17) “ And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased."

(Isaiah 61:1)The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners."

(Matthew 3:16) “ As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him”.

(Psalms 110:1). “The LORD says to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet."

(Luke 22:69) “But from now on the Son of Man shall be seated at the right hand of the power of God."

(Jeremiah 23:5) "The days are coming," declares the LORD, "when I will raise up to David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land.

(John 18: 37) “Then Pilate said to him, "So you are a king?" Jesus answered, "You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world---to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice."

(Isaiah 53:4) “ Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted."

(Isaiah 35:5-6)5Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. 6 Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert."

(Isaiah 42:18) "Hear, you deaf; look, you blind, and see!"

(Matthew 8:16-17)16When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. 17 This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: "He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases."

(Matthew 11:5) "The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor."

(Psalms 41:9) “Even my close friend, whom I trusted, he who shared my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.”

(Matthew 26:21-25) 21And while they were eating, he said, "I tell you the truth, one of you will betray me." 22 They were very sad and began to say to him one after the other, "Surely not I, Lord?" 23 Jesus replied, "The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with me will betray me. 24 The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born." 25 Then Judas, the one who would betray him, said, "Surely not I, Rabbi?" Jesus answered, "Yes, it is you."

(Zechariah 11:12-13) 12 I told them, "If you think it best, give me my pay; but if not, keep it." So they paid me thirty pieces of silver. 13 And the LORD said to me, "Throw it to the potter"--the handsome price at which they priced me! So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them into the house of the LORD to the potter.”

(Matthew 26:15)And asked, "What are you willing to give me if I hand him over to you?" So they counted out for him thirty silver coins.”

(Psalms 22:16-19)16 For dogs encompass me; a company of evildoers encircles me; they have pierced my hands and feet--- 17 I can count all my bones--- they stare and gloat over me;18 they divide my garments among them, and for my clothing they cast lots.19 But you, O LORD, do not be far off! O you my help, come quickly to my aid!”

(Isaiah 53:5-7) 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. 6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.”

(Matthew 26:67)Then they spit in his face and struck him with their fists. Others slapped him.”

(Matthew 27:31) “After they had mocked him, they took off the robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him away to crucify him.”

(Hosea 6:2) “After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us that we may live in his presence.”

(Psalm 16:8-11) 8 I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. 9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, 10 because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay. 11 You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand."

(Matthew 12:40) “For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”
(Matthew 28:6) “He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.”

Let’s try to see what Islamic philosophy say about it.

(Qur'an - Surah Ali Imran 3:40) She said, 'My Lord, how shall I have a son, when no man has touched me? He said, 'Such is the way of ALLAH. HE creates what HE pleases. When HE decrees a thing HE says to it 'Be,' and it is;"

(Qur'an, Surah Maryam 19:30-33) I am a servant of ALLAH. HE has given me the Book, and has made me a Prophet; 'And HE has made me blessed wheresoever I may be, and has enjoined upon me Prayer and almsgiving so long as I live; 'And HE has made me dutiful towards my mother, and has not made me arrogant and graceless; 'And peace was on me the day I was born, and peace will be on me the day I shall die, and the day I shall be raised up to life again.'

Islamic "Hadith" contains two interesting stories. The first was told by Imam Al-Ghazabi. He said that when our Master Isa, Son of Mary – (peace be upon Him) -- was born, demons went to Satan and said: "All the idols have bowed their heads." Satan replied: "Surely something serious must have happened. I am going to investigate. Wait until I come back." So he went all over the world to see what had happened, and he found that Isa had been born and angels were celebrating His birth. So Satan went back to the demons and told them that a Prophet had been born the previous night, and said: "Never has a lady conceived or given birth without my being there, with the exception of this time."

The second story is from Abu Hareera. He said that he heard the apostle of Allah saying: "Never has one of Adam's offspring been born without Satan coming to poke him in the side and make him scream, except Mary's Son, Isa.

(Romans 3:23-25) 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God put forward as propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.”
(John 3:16-17) 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.”

In this way we found the salvation is only through Lord Jesus Christ He bridged the gap between God and man so that we may have a personal relationship with Him if we only believe that he is the only source that builds the missing link between God and men.
I hope know you will have an answer Why Jesus Christ is my personal Savior. He is your too. So let’s pray to him.

Dear Jesus, I accept that I am Sinner you give your blood on cross for my sins and bought me through it. I love you Jesus. Now I am your and you are mine. I need you all the time. Please be in my heart, be with me and be in every step of my life. Guide me, help me and bless me. So I will be symbol of God’s Love. Amen.

interesting...I find it fascinating that you quote the Qur'an as well..
