DO you have any supporting verse to answer this question?
yes there is answer to the question but it will take pages to explain . long vervent study . can not be answered with a few words . to give you an idea let me try. adam and eve are created in the image of god , so they must know what is good and what is evil . so god put satan (evil) in the garden for them to choose between good and evil . without evil how can one know what is good? to know that it is day there must be night . evil has been in satans heart before the earth was created . and evil was born in the garden (satans plan was materialised he ACTED up on wat was in his heart) now evil is born satan guilty . and lets satan carry on to do his evil work until his work has come to the maximum AND THEN GOD WILL DESTROY ALL EVIL FOREVER evil has now reach to the max. it is time now to wipe it of the face of the universe this is gods plan. and we are given a free will to choose . and god also has given us a way (instructions.) the word of god(bible) how to do good. hope you can see the picture now. regards wakeup.

Ezekiel describes Satan’s pre-existence.

Genesis tells how sin started.

Satan the Devil is of course the originator ofsin. At John 8:44 Jesus described him asa manslayer who did not stand fast in the truth, a liar and the father of thelie. Ezekiel 28:13-15 describes Satan’spre-sin existence.

After God created Adam and Eve, Satan beganto covet worship which belongs to God. Thiswas the beginning of his sin. (James1:14) He deceived Eve into takingsomething which belonged to God. (Genesis 3:1-6) Mankind inheritedsin from them. Romans 5:12

In time, other angels, sons of the true God,joined Satan in his rebellion. (Genesis 6:1, 2; 2 Peter 2:4; Jude 6) These angles were created perfect, as wereAdam and Eve. With free will they hadthe choice to obey their loving Creator or seek their own selfish desires.

These angels (now demons) were with God anda witness to God’s Creation of Earth and the first human pair. (Job 38:4, 7) They for a long time remained loyal to God, but later rebelled andjoined Satan.

The rebellion of Satan, his demons andhumans will not happen again after the thousand year reign of Jesus. The question of God’s sovereignty would havebeen thoroughly answered. (Revelation21:3-5; Revelation 20:3-10) God would have cleansed the heavens and earth fromwickedness and all those who want to worship God as he requires will surviveforever and want for nothing. (Psalm 37)

2 Peter 3:8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

DO you have any supporting verse to answer this question?

Just note, these notes, are not complete at all, i just post this to help you out a little.......................................

Here are some places you can read : To understand this , you have to wrap your mind around idea ,there was a "age, of time " before the one were currently in.

Hebrews 11:3

King James Version (KJV)

3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

The word "Worlds , or world" In the Greek as used here, does not mean planet. It means age of time.

Hebrews 1:2

2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

again, world means age here in The Greek it was taken from.

II Peter 3:
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

The heavens that were of old. You do see that there was water that was used to cause a flood: but, Noah is not mentioned here.

(Genesis 1: King James Version
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Here in Gen1:2 , you have mention of water here. (It reads to me, that water was used in the destruction in verse 2. Just like II Peter 3:5 mentions .

II Peter 3:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: ( reason it perished is because of Revelation 12: 3-4 , ezekiel 28, etc . )

7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.....

( the heavens that are now, would be everything that happened after Gen 1:2. ) After that , that would be the 2nd age. So Noah's flood would be different, the event with Noah happened after Gen 1:2..Follow ???)

So basically Satan was created when we all were, but as Ezekiel 28 says, way way way back when, he caused some major problems. That is why when you get to the chapter of the serpent in the garden, you know from the other scriptures, that Satan has been around since before Gen1:2

In Genesis 1: 1. It says in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth... It did not say when the beginning was.

Then in Gen 1:2 you have a destruction to the surface of the earth. ( that is how it reads in the Hebrew it was translated from ) Look it up here > Genesis Chapter 1 - King James Bible With Strong's Dictionary - Bible Software by johnhurt.com note ( Jeremiah 4 : 22-24 )

The reason that it keeps hinting at Satan/ cherub ,as the cause ( Ezekiel 28. Isaiah 14 etc. ). and a rebellion in which 1/3rd fell/took part ( Revelation 12: 3-4 ).

Satan is a covenant creature, he is not like any other angelic being. He was made to co-exist with Gods creation, that God put him to be ruler over; this is why God could not just destroy the Devil when he sinned and fell. If God destroyed Satan then He would have to destroy the whole of His creation including where God Himself dwells, which did not fall but became unclean because this covenant creature was allowed access to God's throne as well. Satan broke his part of this covenant but God could not! Not only that but God would Himself be destroyed because His Word would no longer be worth anything, thus God the Father has suffered more than us all! So who did Jesus look to in His time of suffering? Abba Father! Satan is a covenant creature, if you don't understand this the scriptures will not help you much because just like anything else we can just interpret them as we please. Ezekiel 28:14 gives you a prophetic glimpse into a place and time you could in no other way know about. 'Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth, I have set thee so.' Covereth means to cover; or have a proper covering, headship or to have authority over. and God makes it perfectly clear He is the One who made this covenant in creating this creature, 'I (meaning God) have set thee so' Isaiah Ch 25:7, speaks of the promise of another prophetic Covenant Creature (ie Christ Jesus), One Who would destroy, or swallow this fallen one and his false covering that is cast over all people and all nations. Romans *:20, 21 Tells us that the whole of creation was made subject to the fall of this covenant creature but would be delivered from this corruption through the sons of God in Christ. Satan existed before this creation fell into a place of time, space, matter as we know it. Lucifer means the Light bearer, or in the Hebrew the Day Star. this is a title, who Jesus shares for He is the true Lucifer, or Light Bearer, or Day Star! We do not and cannot know God or anything about Him outside of covenants, nor can you ever understand this covenant creature Satan outside of God's covenant in creating him. Genesis is a prophecy, looking to the past present and future with 2 new covenant creatures, thus Adam and Eve. Who do we see in the Garden? Adam and Eve, the Serpent (who is Satan) and the Lamb of God slain from the foundation of the world! These are all of the covenant creatures we would expect to find here in the time of Genesis.

I am sure the demons rebelled before the earth was created, there was even a girl possessed by a demon. The demon was crying out in fear telling people things saying if it is cast out her body without killing the girl and bring her to hell, Satan will torment it miserably in hell. It told the people it was in hell before the earth was created. It was really thought provoking here is the video if anyone wants to see it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yuer_zvPR0o

"Satan" is Hebrew for "Adversary."

"From the beginning is the Adversary sinning." (1 John 3:8). "He was a man-killer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, for truth is not in him. Whenever he may be speaking a lie, he is speaking of his own, for he is a liar, and the father of it." (John 8:44).
