God was talking about their flesh(flesh will surely die). And Satan was talking about their soul(souls never die). And they both right.
The lake of fire is the second death, the death of the soul. May be that the soul does not cease to exist, but it does die.

The soul that is without God is already dead.

Actually, they did not die in the flesh until many many years later.

....will be thrown into outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.(Matthew 8)
If it does die, Why God says there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
If you are dead you don't have any feelings so, you can't suffer. For example when our bodies are dead they don't have any feelings or any life in it.

God didn't say that they will die instantly after eating the forbidden fruit.

Plus, even if Hell is Death. Still Satan didn't lie. How do you know where is Adam and Eve maybe they are in heaven. Means they are not dead.

Jesus said that Satan is a liar. Jesus said that Satan is the originator of "The Lie."

What is "The Lie?"

You will not die.

what makes you so sure they are in heaven?
the only way they are in Heaven is if they heard Jesus preach to them during His time in the grave.

Even if they are in heaven because Jesus preached to them during His time in the grave. They are not dead.
So, all people who lived Before Christ are in hell? We don't know if Adam and Eve are in hell. So, we can't say that Satan lied.

Jesus said that the devil is a liar. Are you saying that Jesus is wrong?

This is what is disturbing--Jesus called him a liar and the father of liars. You say that isn't so. So, is Jesus mistaken? Is he decieving us? I fear that you are going toward the worst kind of conclusion, that good is bad and bad is good.

So am I. As long as there is a denying of death, there is no perceived need of a savior. Even Adam and Eve knew that something was wrong, when they heard God walking in the garden, they hid from Him. And from that day, man has been dead, because he had lost his openness with God, his trust in and love for God. These have been replaced by fear and mistrust and hate. This is the result of the lie that the devil told Eve. For God said that in the day that they ate, they would surely die. But the devil said that God lied, and that the reason He did not want them to eat was because He wanted to be the only God, and that they would not die. In other words, God had lied to them, that God was a liar. And Eve looked at the fruit, which if she ate of it, she would become like God. And that temptation, along with the lie that she would not die, was too much for her, and she ate. Adam, knowing that she ate, chose to eat with her, rather than to obey God.

Life is God, and God is life. When God made man, there was no life in him, until God breathed it into him. And this life was not the man's life, but belonged to God still. So when Adam disobeyed God and ate, he broke his pact of trust with God. Becoming separated from God, he was also separated from life.

Jesus came and suffered that same separation from God for us, so that we might be restored to God in Him. LIFE!

This is what is meant by "We are saved by grace." Adam and Eve had grace in the garden, and they gave it up for a lie. We have grace restored in Jesus Christ.

God calls Satan a liar. It means he is. (Even, if i don't see why)
God calls himself Good. It means he is. (Even, if i don't see why)
If God would call himself evil. I would believe that he is evil.
It's God's world, he has the right to call someone a liar, evil, good, etc.
What ever God says.
I just know that I must follow God, because it's the best thing I can do for my soul.

It is very difficult, if not impossible, to judge things correctly without the redemption of our minds by the Holy Spirit. The reason for this, although simple, is so contrary and startling that it is hard for us to accept. One day the Jews were questioning Jesusand they claimed that they were Abraham's children. Jesus told them that they were of their father, the devil.
When Adam chose to eat, he chose a spiritual father, Satan. He, and all of his children, took on the nature of their spiritual father. This is why those who's names are not found in the book of life at the white throne judgment are thrown into the lake of fire with the devil and the beast and the false prophet, along with all of the demons of he'll. Wherever our father is , that is where we will be for eternity.

Some have found favor with God, like Enoch and Noah and Moses and many more. These, for some reason, desired God, walked with Him, and found grace to save their souls. But we have the Son, who has passed through the heavens, and by His sacrifice, through His Spirit, has gained for us adoption as children of God. And we barely comprehend what this means. We have been translated out of the kingdom of darkness, into the kingdom of light, of His dear Son. What kingdom you belong to and are a part of depends solely on who your father is. One is the kingdom of death. The other is the kingdom of life.

Those who are of the kingdom of death have the nature of their spiritual father, the devil. Those who are of the kingdom of light are being changed, day by day, to have the nature of their Father. And they have the seal of their birth into His kingdom, the Holy Spirit.

How Satan is bad for people? He doesn't force us to sin. We sin by our free will. I really don't see any reason why blame Satan for something. He haven't done anything bad for people. I can't blame Satan when I sin, he don't force me to sin. People can tempt/hurt me, so I can blame people. But why blame Satan? We know that he is evil, but how exactly he is evil? I know that he is God's enemy. But, I really don't see how he is an enemy of the people. All evil on earth is caused by people not Satan.

If you understood that Adam was the devil, who is Satan and the Serpent, you would realize that the
world is full of satans, being in the flesh of Adam. Since Satan is the seed of evildoers, then is it safe to say that there are more of the devils children in the world, then Adam's (assuming Adam is not the devil)?. Either way though, You are right, we do not need any help to sin, having carnal (lustful)minds (Rom 7:14-25), deceptive hearts (Jer 17:9), cursed flesh (Rom8:1- 8), and dead in the Spirit (Eph 2:1-2; Col 2:13).
And it amazes me how God came down and dwelt in flesh, and was tortured and cruxified, to save us.

Great thread Kostik,

I think the posts show one of the main issues in Christianity. Most people act as if God judges on a curve. I am not as bad as he is, so I am ok, etc. It is almost as if Satan has been used to pull the curve more to the right. "As long as I am closer to God than the devil, I pass".

But that is not how God works. He says be holy like I am holy. Anything short of that is not a passing grade to him. So many Christians worry about evil spirits and satanic influences. They talk about binding satan, etc. Focus on God and what he considers holy and all that is taken care of. Walk towards God and you can't even see satan.

Why is Satan the bad guy? Because he tries to lead us away from God. In that vein, most of the world is equivilent to satan.

Satan Will perish ... He will abide in Hell ... and until the Judgement Day ... he will do what he does best, mislead and corrupt.
His motives : Jealousy, Envy and Pride ... because he once had the opportunity to abide in Heaven and will not Allow or Tolerate a creature made by CLAY (Adam and the children's of Adam) to stay (as for Adam) or to have access to Paradise !

Amen.

Satan is bad because he wants to bring as many of us to Hell as possible to hurt God. He wants us to worship him, not Jesus.

Satan wants to kill all humans. Wants to destroy and steal from them all. And he wants them all in hell so he won't suffer alone. The good in that is??

I disagree with you. I think the first lie was 'don't touch'.
