….but just because a Christian believes in Election (which is a Bible truth) does not make him a Calvinist.
taken from WikipediA — The theology of Calvinism has been immortalized in the acronym TULIP, which states the five essential doctrines of total depravity, unconditional election, limited atonement, irresistible grace, and perseverance of the saints. These were detailed after Calvin's death in the Second Synod of Dort in 1618–1619 against the opposing Five Articles of Remonstrance which followed the theology of Jacobus Arminius. Modern Reformed theology continues to assert these five points of Calvinism,[6] as a simple summary of the soteriologicaldoctrines which Calvin espoused and credited to Augustine.

Me? I certainly do not believe in unconditional election or limited atonement. This is not biblical.
i'm curious as to what sort of election you do believe in. not tryna give you a hard time; merely curious. :)

And Calvinists might be the "right" Church since there is consistency in doctrine there and not with "flowery" Leighton Flowers.
My point is both are wrong because the are part of the same bird :)

You have no biases? Your doctrine void of Calvinism or Arminianism? So which part of the heteros/different "bird" are you? No offense.

I am serious @Thunderrr-mental-and well done for asking questions-remember, ask them to show you Scripture references and then ask them to exegete the references-

I think trying to understand free will, is trying to understand how a mind works or how a seed grows.

It's the same as trying to understand where the wind will blow.

I don't believe we have free will, and I don't think there is such a thing as free will, I believe it's an invented idea.

I believe we have a free choice.

I feel in the case of free will being included in church doctrine, is based on philosophy and theology of a mans own natural thoughts.

free agency
The ability to make one’s own decisions as to what one will do, choosing as one pleases in light of one’s own sense of right and wrong and the inclination one feels;1 the ability to make willing choices that have real effects.2 Sometimes called free will.

From scripture:

But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. (James 1:14 ESV)
But I tell you that Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but did to him whatever they pleased. So also the Son of Man will certainly suffer at their hands. (Matthew 17:12 ESV)

From The Second Helvetic Confession, Chapter 9:
Of Free Will, and Thus of Human Powers
[N]o one denies that in external things both the regenerate and the unregenerate enjoy free will. For man has in common with other living creatures (to which he is not inferior) this nature to will some things and not to will others. Thus he is able to speak or to keep silent, to go out of his house or to remain at home, etc. However, even here God’s power is always to be observed, for it was the cause that Balaam could not go as far as he wanted (Num., ch. 24), and Zacharias upon returning from the temple could not speak as he wanted (Luke, ch.1).

From Concise Theology by J. I. Packer:
Free agency is a mark of human beings as such. All humans are free agents in the sense that they make their own decisions as to what they will do, choosing as they please in the light of their sense of right and wrong and the inclinations they feel. Thus they are moral agents, answerable to God and each other for their voluntary choices. So was Adam, both before and after he sinned; so are we now, and so are the glorified saints who are confirmed in grace in such a sense that they no longer have it in them to sin. Inability to sin will be one of the delights and glories of heaven, but it will not terminate anyone’s humanness; glorified saints will still make choices in accordance with their nature, and those choices will not be any the less the product of human free agency just because they will always be good and right.

Their gospel teaches the following things:
1. Christ did NOT die for the sins of the whole world, only for the sins of the so-called "elect".
2. God "elects" only some for salvation, and ignores the rest of humanity.
3. But since no one can respond to the Gospel and believe, God first "regenerates" the sinner, who then believes. This is the reverse of what the Bible teaches.
4. Therefore the so-called "elect" believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

The only closeness I can see to free will in the scripture you posted is desire.

Desire is never free tho,

The desire a man has before he saved is not free,

As the scripture says whoever the son sets free is free indeed.

1. Christ did NOT die for the sins of the whole world, only for the sins of the so-called "elect"..Christ.
This is true. Once you repent you are elected.

2. God "elects" only some for salvation, and ignores the rest of humanity.
This is true, once you repent it's the start of being saved, don't repent and you become the many.

3. But since no one can respond to the Gospel and believe, God first "regenerates" the sinner, who then believes. This is the reverse of what the Bible teaches.
This is true in parable of the seed in Luke.

Gods word is the seed that enters the heart, in some it stays for a while before being removed.

In others it stays and re-generates then they repent. Because the heart understands.

4. Therefore the so-called "elect" believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
this is also true..

I do not hold bias; I think there is truth in the context of both positions, Yet the argument is with those who claim to be saved already :)

That, to me, is foolishness.

Right-give your explanation of the gospel-and the doctrine of election are all over in Scriptures-remember Noah-a preacher of righteousness? The whole then know world were destroyed-what about Sodom and Gomorrah? A caricature rampant in the now known world and is the norm for the whole kosmos

You think it is impossible to be saved ALREADY? Am I reading you correctly?

I can't see any freedom in Man's will here either

Romans 13:2
2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.
