Rev 20.10

και ο διαβολος ο πλανων αυτους εβληθη εις την λιμνην του πυρος και θειου οπου και το θηριον και ο ψευδοπροφητης και βασανισθησονται ημερας και νυκτος εις τους αιωνας των αιωνων

The Greek phrase ‘eis tous aiōnas tōn aiōnōn’ can be demonstrated to mean eternity by simple comparison within Revelation, itself.

The verbatim phrase is utilized in reference to the worship of God & Jesus and their ability to live for all eternity in the following verses:

  • Jesus is alive for all eternity (Rev 1.18)
  • God lives for all eternity (Rev 4.9)
  • God lives for all eternity (Rev 4.10)
  • God & The Lamb live for all eternity (Rev 5.13)
  • Worship God for all eternity (Rev 7.12)
  • God lives for all eternity (Rev 10.6)
  • Christ rules for all eternity (Rev 11.15)
  • God lives for all eternity (Rev 15.7)

Thus, when we see the same phraseology used in relation to Jesus’ Elect from the vantage-point of Heaven, we can likewise be confident that it is for all eternity:

  • The Elect in Heaven rule for all eternity (Rev 22.5)

Further, the same phrase is even carried-over in describing the torment of the unbelievers which also will last for all eternity:

  • The unbelievers are judged and tortured for all eternity (Rev 19.3)
  • The false trinity is tortured for all eternity (Rev 20.10)

Amen the best commentary on the bible is the bible......The suffering of the lost, wicked, devil and unholy trinity will be forever......JUST like Jude states concerning Sodom....suffering the vengeance of eternal FIRE....It amazes me how many people will stand on the opinion of men when the scriptures are clear...

Eternal LIFE for those who acknowledge and believe into Jesus
Eternal Punishment for those who reject the FREE offer of ETERNAL life that is found in the FAITH OF JESUS......

Eternal means exactly that...ETERNAL
EVERLASTING means exactly that....EVERLASTING

What Is the Punishment for Sin?
Revelation 20:10 speaks of the Devil’s being “hurled into the lake of fire and sulphur,” and they interpret it to support their views. Of course, this does not agree with Ecclesiastes 9:5, which says that the dead “are conscious of nothing at all”; nor does it agree with Romans 6:23, which states that “the wages sin pays is death,” not conscious torment. Still, some might wonder, does not Revelation 20:10 say that Satan (and, supposedly, persons misled by him) “will be tormented day and night forever and ever”?
In the first century, the Greek word for “torment”—here used by the Bible writer John—had a special connotation. Since prisoners were sometimes tortured (although this was contrary to God’s law), jailers became known as tormentors.
Another Bible writer refers to this when speaking about an unfaithful slave whose master “delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.” (Matthew 18:34, King James Version) Commenting on this text, The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia says: “Probably the imprisonment itself was regarded as ‘torment’ (as it doubtless was), and the ‘tormentors’ need mean nothing more than jailers.”

You can not hurt a spirit it's not a physical thing, it's like trying to burn an angle it's not going to happen.
Bible says in first sentence that God made heaven and earth but the real translation should be the gods made heaven and earth.
ive spoke to many priest about this they say I'm absolutely right but we belive there's only one God.
like in genesis God says come let us make man in our image, us and our ?? he's not talking to him self is he.
bible is telling you something if you read it the right way, it's best translating it yourself, it's canaanite but we call it Hebrew.

Deu 6:4 Hear, O Israel: YHWH is our Elohim, YHWH is one:
Deu 6:5 And thou shalt love YHWH thy Elohim with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Mar 12:29 And Yahushua answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; YHWH is our Elohim, YHWH is one:
Mar 12:30 And thou shalt love YHWH thy Elohim with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
Mar 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Rom 3:30 Seeing it is one Elohim, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? By no means: yea, we establish the law.

Gal 3:20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but YHWH is one.

1Ti 2:5 For there is one Elohim, and one mediator between Elohim and men, the man Yahushua the Messiah;
1Ti 2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Jas 2:19 Thou believest that there is one Elohim; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

Jas 4:12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

You can hurt a spirit with spiritual fire

I think you need to understand the flipside to what you just said. A boy is born in Central Africa, or maybe Southeast Asia. He didn't ask to be born. He didn't ask to be born with a sin nature. He didn't ask to be born into severe poverty with no parents or no home. The boy spends the majority of his young life moving from here to there, always wondering where his next meal is coming from. He dies at 12 years old from hunger or maybe from disease. He never heard about Jesus or God at all in his life. What does God do to this unfortunate soul? He sends him to hell, where, according to you, he will be tortured and tormented for all eternity. Is that just? Is there any possible defense for why a supposedly loving and merciful God would do that. More importantly, is there any reason to honor or revere such a God?

We're not just talking about one child here, but thousands, no millions, of children throughout history that could fall into the category I just mentioned. You're telling me you are okay with that?
Why did God kill babies ? will babies go tot hell even though there parents are saved ? Why or Why not ?

Basically, you are referring to GOD and HIS children.

Psa 82:1 A Psalm of Asaph. God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
Psa 82:2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
Psa 82:3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
Psa 82:4 Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
Psa 82:5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
Psa 82:6 I have said, Ye are gods;H430 and all of you are children of the most High.
Psa 82:7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
Psa 82:8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.

H430
אלהים
'ĕlôhı̂ym
el-o-heem'
Plural of H433; gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in the plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme God; occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates; and sometimes as a superlative: - angels, X exceeding, God (gods) (-dess, -ly), X (very) great, judges, X mighty.

And as far as a spirit not being a physical thing, a spirit is a personality. The spirit is the intellect or personality of the soul. A spirit body however is definetly made of something. Refer to Abraham serving the angels a full dinner when they came to tell Abraham that Sarah would have a son. Those angels were in spirit bodies and they could eat and experience things similar to us. Read 1st Corinthians 15 for information on spirit bodies.

Mat_10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

And don't forget:

Heb 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire.

Elohim is more than one, can't mean just one to us as it means more than one in Hebrew, can't just translate something and make your own meaning up to that translation, its plural more than one, ask any Rabbi they will tell I'm right.
like when they mention elders in the bible people just think of an older person but and elder in religion is someone that worships the God el, he's God of saturn, the oldest planet in our solar system, ask your priest about the saturnalian brotherhood or better of do your own research, the Star of David is the star of saturn, that's why the Jews worship on Saturn-day, we worship the sun so we worship on Sun-day..
please don't get mad as this is just my point of view and everyone is entitled to there own opinion aren't they..
