Those who have faith in the invisible God are like the sails of a mighty ship. Who can direct the heart of the poor?

The wise man finds foolishness by chance. The fool finds wisdom by rebuke.

A rebellious woman and a fool are twice the trouble of the scoffer.

A man who journeys far finds peace and a woman who stays at home is an ointment.

No debt can be paid in the grave yet the grave does not forgive.

Entering the door of the wicked brings strife. The wise entertain the poor and humble.

Greater are two in accord than ten with strife.

Wives that build their houses with deceit are one with the accuser of good men.

Try Proverbs 1 through 31 if you are looking for wisdom.

Hey Jonathan, tell me how does these words come to you through the Spirit? Interesting to know if it is from the gift of wisdom, I heard similar structures from that gift I believe. In curiosity is it an impression through the Spirit or what? :)

I have the gift of word of wisdom. God still speaks.
Honestly It sounds more like poetry to me, speaking elegant words does not make one wise. True wisdom is something that is seen in a person not something proven by simply saying you have it. If you are indeed wise I suppose we will see it in you in due time

Even blasphemers can speak in tongues, word of wisdom can sound poetic, but if inspired and if it does come from the Spirit revealing truths given at the proper time, then you really got to discern through the Spirit by how this revelation was received or not. We cannot know for us to say it's not what it is. We simply must validate it through the Spirit. Whether this man has it or not, we must try to also understand what is it before speaking against it.

Interesting.

The wise man finds foolishness by chance. The fool finds wisdom by rebuke.

fools hate correction. No?

A rebellious woman and a fool are twice the trouble of the scoffer.

I don't understand this one.

A man who journeys far finds peace and a woman who stays at home is an ointment.

This one makes no sense at all. Wouldn't it be a pretty blanket statement to say whoever travels finds peace?

No debt can be paid in the grave yet the grave does not forgive.

Kind of confusing. But interesting.

Entering the door of the wicked brings strife. The wise entertain the poor and humble.

Indeed.

Greater are two in accord than ten with strife.
Simple but true.

Wives that build their houses with deceit are one with the accuser of good men.

Since when are women responsible for building and sustaining a home.

If words of wisdom came only after we were born in the spirit, all those who know Christ would agree on those words. Tom, Harry, and Dick would speak in unison. That does not happen. We know the spirit is required, so there must be something in addition required. I think that is God's word, and not only His word but understanding of that word. I don't think you can give yourself to the Lord one day and have complete understanding the next. The day you give yourself to the Lord you are a baby, and you grow fast and strong when you are well fed and in your being you are rich soil. Some people go to men for their interpretation for food, and that doesn't work. You need lots of the real food.
