Jesus first coming and His death, burial and resurrection was on the first four of the Feast Days. (You need to know and understand God's calendar, a lunar/solar calendar.) It is hard for me to believe that He will not fulfill His Second Coming with the final three Feast Days. The first day of the seventh month is not known in advance if one is watching the skies for a new sighted moon sliver. What year is not known. He says He will cut the time short, else no one would be left alive. God's Feast Days (He calls them MY FEASTS....they are not just for the Jews) are also known as REHEARSALS. But, of course, if all the TaNaK is done away with and not worth studying, you have not even the obvious clue of when His Second Coming will be.

Lev 23:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Lev 23:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.
Lev 23:3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation H4744-rehearsal; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.
Lev 23:4-43 These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.

Lev 23:44 And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the LORD.

H4744

From H7121; something called out, that is, a public meeting (the act, the persons, or the palce); also a rehearsal: - assembly, calling, convocation, reading.

All the bold/underline words are H4744. Think also a rehearsal:

And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.
(Exodus 12:16)

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.
(Leviticus 23:2)

Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.
(Leviticus 23:3)

These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.
(Leviticus 23:4)

In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
(Leviticus 23:7)

But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
(Leviticus 23:8)

And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.
(Leviticus 23:21)

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.
(Leviticus 23:24)

Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
(Leviticus 23:27)

On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
(Leviticus 23:35)

Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.
(Leviticus 23:36)

These are the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day:
(Leviticus 23:37)

Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.
(Numbers 10:2)

In the first day shall be an holy convocation; ye shall do no manner of servile work therein:
(Numbers 28:18)

And on the seventh day ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work.
(Numbers 28:25)

Also in the day of the firstfruits, when ye bring a new meat offering unto the LORD, after your weeks be out, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work:
(Numbers 28:26)

And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you.
(Numbers 29:1)
****Knowing how God's calendar works, will help you to know when this day is near and the day officially begins.

And ye shall have on the tenth day of this seventh month an holy convocation; and ye shall afflict your souls: ye shall not do any work therein:
(Numbers 29:7)

And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work, and ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days:
(Numbers 29:12)

So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.
(Nehemiah 8:8)

Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
(Isaiah 1:13)

And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.
(Isaiah 4:5)

In our present day, rehearsals are essential to survival. Military drills? Fire drills? Catasrophic drills? Are to be prepared when the actual event occurs. Rehearsals are not bad, but are a gift of grace to believers.

God has given me a few "fire drills" ... He must agree with your idea of rehearsals :)

Or maybe He just wanted to show me my reactions to them :)

Either way ... I think I will just remain child-like on this point and wait for Him to tell me ... My trust in Him brings me joy. :)

That reminds me of the story of the fool whose home and land flooded. When it was as high as the windows, a boat came and said "Let us rescue you". And he said, "No thanks, I'm waiting on God to save me." Then when the flood waters were as high as the eaves on the roof, another boat came to him, and said "Let us rescue you". And he said again, "No thanks, I'm waiting for God to save me". Then the flood waters rose and he was treading the waters when a helicopter came and offered to save him. He once again refused help, stating he was waiting on God to save him. Well, the waters swallowed the man and he died. And perhaps you know the ending? The man asked God why He didn't save him from the flood waters and well, God sent not one but two boats and a third of a helicopter to rescue him. I think that man was not of a sound mind and was delusional about the way God was to operate in this situation. Anyway, just a dumb fictional/spiritual story. May your wait be blessed.

Yes a deeper and closer more intimate and more beautiful relationship with him is needed. I remember having a vision one day of a storm heading our way. I recall I was in a mountainous area surrounded by mountains in all directions the sky was dark and gloomy it had an ominous look to it and there was lighting and thunder strangely the lightning was purple the dirt was a grey like color and in my hands was like fine dust the wind was blowing softly making the dirt look like small waves and the wind was cool it neither warm nor cold to the north above the mountains I saw a dark and scary horrible storm it was dark and scary it had lightning and thunder as well but much more powerful and terrifying it was darker than I knew a cloud could even get and all I got from it was sense of terrible danger and chaos blood and death and it was approaching very fast with Jesus riding on top of it.

This storm I saw I believe is very prophetic and it appears far away in many's eyes but is in fact rapidly approaching and is actually far more close than what it appears like looking through a telescope backwards and once this storm hits I cannot help but feel that everyone is going to look back on these days like a fond memory only then realizing how good we really had it but knowing things can never go back to it.

The thing about sudden destruction is it doesn't declare it's arrival it's literally like a thief in the night you don't expect it it just happens. Also as for the two week warning you speak of if it helps you I have had two dreams about the rapture where I specifically had a sense of knowing inside me that the rapture is about to happen and not just me in one dream I felt this inside me and went to cc to see if anyone else felt it and they did
Wow Blain that's amazing, I had the following dream 4 years ago I think it was.

I had a dream I was walking home on a winter night from work after getting off the bus,
so it was maybe 5-6pm but it was dark. As I looked across some fields I saw lightening flashes
light up the sky. The lightening was going from left to right streaking across the sky and it
sort of formed a black hole in the sky.

This large hole was absolutely pitch black with no light of any kind in it. It was as if part of the
sky was missing. I carried on walking home but found myself at my old church of my youth.
I asked the people if they had seen the storm and the hole but no one had seen it as none
of them had been outside. Then another person arrived he had seen the storm too but only
because he had been outside as well.

Then in the dream the scene changed it was a stunning bright blue morning in the middle
of summer and I was on my way to work on the bus. It was a completely cloudless day.
I looked up in the sky and saw that where the black hole had been in winter, there was
now a dense bright blue hole in the sky. Only because it blended in so well with the rest
of the sky, only people who knew of the night time hole, would have realised this hole was
still in the sky.

I knew instantly the dream of the winter and summer sky was one and the same message.
People as they went about their daily business needed to watch and discern and wait,
I kept getting the idea of the watchman.

But there was also a risk that people within the church would not see or notice and discern because
they were too busy with church business instead of God business.

To this day when I get on the bus and go to work I often find myself looking up at the same
place in the sky that I saw in the dream.

44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
We are commanded to be watchful, looking for that day.

And it is those who stray in complacency that will be surprised as though by a thief.
That there (if only in part) reminds me a little of here also

Exodus 32:1 And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

Mat 24:48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

And they "eat and drink

Ex 32:6And they rose up early on the morrow**, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.

Paul mentions this same here

1Cr 10:6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we** should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

1 Cr 10:7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written,

The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play
.

As it also says,

Heb 3:5
And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after**

Seems similar in what they thought concerning the Lord delaying his coming also

Miri that is an astounding dream:) I had one not long ago that I have yet to understand that is similar to yours about the hole in the sky. I was at a seven eleven near my moms house where I lived before I moved out two things were in the sky as I looked up one was a solar eclipse and the other was a hole in the sky like it was ripped open it seemed to be another dimension and I half expected something or someone to come out of it and then the dream ended.
Again I have yet to understand this dream or what it's meaning is but God has this way of revealing the meaning of things in time

Great example(s) sister ...

And "play" here is apparently, from what I heard, being very gentle ...

They had seen and tasted God's goodness ... He had delivered them from slavery with HUGE miracles ... and then they wanted to worship a cow ... and partake in unholy and unwholesome rituals ...

A better example or turning away would be hard to find.

And then there is the bit about beating fellow servants. I personally worry more about that for myself. Loving everyone all the time in word and deed is not easy ...

I had a vision, not a dream ... I was in my kitchen ... and I saw ... not with my eyes though (impossible to explain) ... a hole as well ... but it was kind of like liquid and vertical and about the size of a large man ... and I KNEW with a certainty that Christ was on the other side of it ... and I thought with awe ... wow, He's RIGHT HERE!

I, personally, think many people may be setting themselves up for just this very thing to happen in their lives by expecting to be raptured out of here sometime soon. I, as most of you well know, see no "Surprise Rapture" in Scripture, and therefore do not hope for an end to living as Jesus wants anywhere before the moment of each of our deaths.

To me, this creates within a person a VERY different way of seeing ALL the days of our lives on this Earth, and how we view endeavoring to spread the kingdom during our time here.

How many months in a year in your opinion?
Usually, most of the time we have 12 years with 12 months and 7 years with 13 months (and each month has either 29 days or 30 days.) The Hillell II calendar has very specific cycles of when the 13 month years occur and which months in that cycle have 29 days or the 30 days. God however does not have the specific cycles (ie. year 3, 6, 8, 11, 14, 17 & 19) nor is He restricted to a specific month having 29 days or a specific month having 30 days. But I have examined the calendar closely, and have found in the 19 year cycle, whether Hellel's or God's, has exactly the same number of days overall.

It is best to simply live each day as if it were you last, in that way you will be prepared if you remain alive until the time of His coming.

MATTHEW 24

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Some might find this of interest ... comforting ...

Jesus says here that no one knows the DAY or HOUR ... but He does say we can know the SEASON.

NO:
hour
day

MAYBE:
week
month

SURELY:
season

What is interesting is that He brings Noah into the picture here ... God gave Noah a heads up 7 days prior to the flood.

I have always taken comfort in the idea that if we are being watchful throughout the season ... He will give us also a weeks notice prior to His coming.

This is but one reason why I feel it is so important to have a close relationship with God ... if we are accustomed to dialogue with Him ... not only speaking, but listening for His answers and hearing them ... then we will hear such warnings. Not just at His return but in all ways.

A good question to ask yourself is ... when I ask God a question ... do I "hear" His answer ... we really should.
Day/hour and seasons actually refer to two entirely different things in the text that have nothing to do with one another.

OK I'll bite ... not literally -hehe

.. to me the season is the atmosphere surrounding the context of what Jesus said preceded His return.

but the mention of day and hour, to me, seems more literal ...

So we are watchful for a set of signs that denotes He will return shortly... but the day and hour are not precisee -uhm - pointed to exactly.

How do you perceive them?

Looking all throughout the bible one thing I noticed is God always warns his own when something big is about to happen
He did warn us...in His Word. But I just can't go run after every one who has a dream or a vision...

And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

Its just the way you said that!!!

My ice tea is in my nostrils (thanks Sis)

And yeah, that beating your fellowservant goes on all the time between believers who instigate others seking to provoke and pound on them at every turn.

I actually love that that is written though.
