Today after lighting my incense I noticed how much the smell had carried throughout my house after an hour of lighting it. I was struck by the scripture
[h=3]2 Corinthians 2:14-16[/h]New King James Version (NKJV)

[SUP]14 [/SUP]Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. [SUP]15 [/SUP]For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things?

We believers are in some ways like in incense. Sometimes it takes time for God's love to diffuse from us to others. God does not always want us to overwhelm people with an over the top witnessing style sometimes he needs to burn slowly through us to reveal the fragrance of his sweet love to others. Give them the space they for the Spirit to draw them into the light of the Kingdom of His dear Son.
Sometimes to we need to meditate on a certain scripture before it becomes effective in our. Slowly the scent of the good rhema word burns to it sweetness when received in its due season. As it says in Is. 28
[SUP]9 [/SUP]“Whom will he teach knowledge?
And whom will he make to understand the message?
Those just weaned from milk?
Those just drawn from the breasts?
[SUP]10 [/SUP]For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept,
Line upon line, line upon line,
Here a little, there a little.”
[SUP]11 [/SUP]For with stammering lips and another tongue
He will speak to this people,
[SUP]12 [/SUP]To whom He said, “This is the rest with which
You may cause the weary to rest,”
And, “This is the refreshing”;
Yet they would not hear.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]But the word of the Lord was to them,
“Precept upon precept, precept upon precept,
Line upon line, line upon line,
Here a little, there a little,”
That they might go and fall backward, and be broken
And snared and caught.

We need to take time savor the word make it apart the whole of us that we may become a fragrance of life unto those seek His life and overwhelm the place of darkness with he sweet smell of His that they may flee to the place of stench of death.

My we savor the goodness of the Lord as he works in us sweet fragrance of His love!
