"I tell you, therefore, everything you ask and pray for, believe that you have it already, and it will be yours. ‎And when you stand in prayer, forgive whatever you have against anybody, so that your Father in heaven may forgive your failings too.’" (Mark 11:24-26)

The anglicized Greek word translated as "pray" and "praying" in v.24-25 is proseuchomenoi. This looks like the English word "prosecute".

It is good to have goals and to pray as a means to achieving those goals. When we pray and ask for God's help, it is good to pray earnestly and to plead and to "prosecute" our case before God in prayer. When we prosecute our case in prayer and is good to articulate reasons in our prayer before Almighty God and explain why our request should be granted.

Moses in Exodus 33:11 ff is one example of prosecuting a case in prayer. Luke 18:1 ff is another.
