Let the Bible be your judge.

Philippians 2:12

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

2 Timothy 3:16

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

2 Peter 1:21

For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Jeremiah 1:7

But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.
Jeremiah 1:9

Then the LORD put forth His hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.

Seventh Day Adventists believe the Bible is not verbally inspired of God, but He only inspired the thoughts of the writers (known as thought inspiration).

Revelation 22:18-19

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Seventh Day Adventists believe the writings of Ellen G. White are the word of god and that she is a prophet. Her writings are revered and elevated to be equal to the Bible much in the same fashion as Mormons add the book of Mormon, and many others add the apocrypha. They then try to excuse this by saying that the Bible is the final authority.

In conclusion, I would think that these factors should be rectified first before worrying about what day the Sabbath is.
