Funny how the tribe Benjamin (Son of My Right Hand) was known for its left handed fierce warriors. They nearly wiped out the nation of Israel in Judges and were among David's most loyal and best warriors. It is among he least of the tribes that remained faithful to Judea while their King Saul of the tribe of Benjamin was rejected. He was among Israel's last of was Son of his beloved Rachel who died shortly birthing him naming him son of my sorrow, but Israel called Son Of His Right Hand.
Gen 38: [SUP]17 [/SUP]Now it came to pass, when she was in hard labor, that the midwife said to her, “Do not fear; you will have this son also.” [SUP]18 [/SUP]And so it was, as her soul was departing (for she died), that she called his name Ben-Oni;[SUP][c][/SUP] but his father called him Benjamin.[SUP][d][/SUP] [SUP]19 [/SUP]So Rachel died and was buried on the way to Ephrath (that is, Bethlehem). [SUP]20 [/SUP]And Jacob set a pillar on her grave, which is the pillar of Rachel’s grave to this day. Our left hand is the sign of weakness, but we see in Benjamin a place of strength. The son who brought his mother sorrow was blessed and loved by his father Israel who himself had his name just changed after an encounter with God. It was another Benjaminite who come to God over a thorn in his flesh only to be told by the Master weakness is the place of his strength.2 Corinthians 12:8-10

New King James Version (NKJV)

[SUP]8 [/SUP]Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. [SUP]9 [/SUP]And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. [SUP]10 [/SUP]Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

The city of Jerusalem was in the land of the tribe of Benjamin fulfilling the prophecy of Moses
Deuteronomy 33:12

New King James Version (NKJV)

[SUP]12 [/SUP]Of Benjamin he said:
“The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by Him,
Who shelters him all the day long;

And he shall dwell between His shoulders.”

Genesis 49:27

New King James Version (NKJV)

[SUP]27 [/SUP]“Benjamin is a ravenous wolf;" He who is the weakest the last of his brother's was blessed by His brother Joseph with five times more. The left handed warriors of God were surely a blessed tribe. How is it in our weakness does He find a place to dwell. The first shall be last and the last shall be first. May we glorify God in our weakness.
